Pernsteiner no longer has the perfect body for a climber, but perhaps Lemmen or Niklas Larsen have brothers we haven't heard about yet. They might also be able to convince a Winter Olympic participant to switch sports when the games are over.

Nobody wants to ride for them , they have no idea how to train riders , they are micromanaged, and only gullible riders from lesser level/french teams (armirail, shiffer, fiorelli) are signing because any science is an improvement for them.
They've probably been round asking everyone, pernstenner, hugh carthy, lafay, venturini, bardet. Anton Palzser. Checking the UCI ban list for soon eligible riders etc. Getting turned down. I bet buchmann even chose cofidis over them.
The old stalwart kruijsvik will be leading the team aiming for a top 20 at the giro at this rate.

i expects his targets in the first half of the season to be late in the spring, so i think he will build slowly towards that. he was just supposed to be a helper here.
with the team schedule, i think its likely that he and graat will ride coppi e bartali before o gran camino and perhaps also romandie.

They are looking for a new namesponsor. Visma is staying onboard, but are willing to give the name sponsorship to someone else if this grows the budget. Since they don't want to pay more. Makes sense since they are being surpassed by UAE, RBH, LIDL, and Decathlon budget wise.

Suddenly Yates exit is logical in context and riders left behind like Jonas Vingegaard are trying to improvise an immediate plan and come up with a future that doesn't look brutal. EF, NSN, Lotto, Intermerchie, few others all sending signals that finding money is getting harder. Guys like Brennan need to jump ship as soon as possible, older riders are left just to wait, Visma has 8 riders between @30-38 years old currently, who knows what multi year contracts are out there.
