It's a bit weird if they let Nordhagen do one when they wouldn't let Uijtdebroeks do one.
It has never been said as far as I've read that Uijtdebroeks was denied riding a GT. It's that he wanted to ride for GC rather than being a domestique. He probably would have ridden one last season as well if he hadn't still had issues with his nerve injury.

I imagine something will happen and the Vuelta lineup is in flux. I'd have Yates as nominal Vuelta leader, tbh but I guess you have to give Matteo a shot at GC at some point...

You might be right, that's just what I read, but it might have been manipulated or taken out of context.

The danes must slowly but surely be getting on Visma nerves. All that media chatter.
Jonas is their champion, so it's understandable, but some reality check seems needed for danish media.

Makes a change from all comments about them no longer bring a proper Dutch team anymore.

Would expect that to be the Vuelta, maybe with Jorgenson and Kuss as a bit of a triple 'let's see what happens' approach. Although Jorgenson might do the full Canada experience.
Nordhagen (if they let him ride a GC next year) doesn´t get more then a pure domestique role in my opinion. His results do not justify yet a free role in a GT in a team like Visma. The first guy, who would deserve this after Vingegaard, Jorgenson and S.Yates would be Tulett in my opinion..

So what's the news about Hagenes? Read that he was "seriously ill" during the summer and hasn't raced since. Is he part of the training camp currently?
