I had a similar with the 1997 winner. Could picture him in at least three teams but could not remember his name within the 15 minute limit. Only one I missed since 1991, but overall score still less than 50:eek:

I took a few of the tests today and I didn't fail miserably. I'm going to give my score and impressions on the different tests so if you want to avoid spoilers, I suggest you don't read the rest of this post.

57/80. Really disappointed that I missed a few I really shouldn't have (eg : Coppi :eek:).


Concerning the last series of tests that pigoonse posted :
34/50 for the sprinters. I missed a few obvious one. The "ATM" in the title can be a bit confusing since a couple of the sprinters haven't performed in years. Also, how can Spilak make the list and not Boonen, it makes no sense :D My advice, don't be afraid to go for punchy riders that can also sprint.

For the cols, I got 12/24 including all those the TDF has ridden at least 40 times. Clearly, the hardest test of the list.

143 out of 150 for the cq one. I guess I spend too much time on cq building fantasy teams :p I'm happy I got the one that the most people forget.

For the classics, I scored 8/9 but I just missed the last one because whatever I tried I couldn't get the spelling right.

Tried going by order until I reached the 20es, then I gave up and just started guessing wildly, except I still forgot a lot of names...

This was tough! I got 86/100. I balked when it was a slate of "LTS/BEL", "LAM/ITA" and "MOV/SPA" riders staring me down. Thanks for bumping this, these games are fun.

edit: and 53/80 on the rainbow jersey one... man there are some obscure guys that won that race!

I have been cycling for many years.
But, I'm sorry I'm unaware of so many professional cyclists but only a few! I'm failed! :(
