If I remember correctly that was a flat finish(or slightly uphill à la the Worlds this year), but with a lot of hills in the final. Could have won that stage as well if he wasn't so inexperienced in group sprints.

Your right. It wasn't a real hilltop finish.
A tough stage with a false flat finish.

says the man with 8000 posts!

Let's just say I get easily distracted while learning :p

But picking a decent team would cost me too much time and posts are done in a minute :p

A little Christmas present to those who needs a little advice. But also to fück up those, who hates riders being named :p

I guess I might take him if I had 32 riders at 7500 points, but to be honest I don't really want to pick anyone unless I'm pretty sure they can get me 300-400 points more. Even winning the mountain jersey at the Giro only got him 206 points for 2010.

People do realise the game it to find bargains be very boring if 60 % of the riders on teams are the same.

I vote for next years any riders named - the person can not play the game.

yes I have Matt it was my 1st pick obvious I thought but riders being named is going to mean more teams the same.

PS el Pist man up put a team in it will take you 1 hour :p

It is for a reason that it wasn't until now that I mentioned him;)

PS: And I don't think I can seriously win against so great competition, so my team will mostly consist of my favourite riders (Like Boonen)

If you have a unique bargain though, you're the only one that can reveal it...

At the point where I felt my team was ready to be sent it, I decided to take one rider out and swap him for another.

To be fair, it's mainly quantity, rarely quality ;)

I don't want Llyod, I don't think he'll exceed 100 points.

I took Lloyd out too, there's better value in the <10 points bracket ;)

Honestly I think that we should keep name dropping out of the thread. Sure, it's interesting to discuss various riders and a lot of those mentioned probably don't influence anyone's picks, but I fear a scenario like last year where a certain Vuelta winner was revealed and had a huge influence on the game.

We can discuss picks when the new season starts :)

If I recall correctly Only 36 people had him, out of about 90, so the majority of people did not have him.

perhaps yes, but it only shows that mentioning names doesn't have as big influence on players' decisions as many of us think

i don't understand this total fear of being copied

Me neither. That's why I will now reveal one of the riders on my team:

Winner.
