not bad, hugo? good job man.
did you need permission from cq or ?

It's not my work, but the work of the user "cqmanager"! I don't know if he's talked to cqranking.com, but I assume that he's done what needs to be done :) I spoke with them last year regarding the game itself and there were no problems.

Oh by the way, the updates will still be here as well.

I looked to find where Juarez ( the best young rider in San Luis finished ) as i thought he might be a talent. However he was 47th. I am defenitly not choosing him.

I'm going to keep my eye on Daniel Diaz.

I hope to keep the top 10 :D
this week I've got some points from Boonen, JJ Haedo and Traksel...I was 8th, and I should overcome the 6h (not the 7th, Mellow Velo that earned more points than me). But I don't know what's happening behind me :D

Nice. Startlists out today confirm Farrar is starting in both Qatar and Oman, with a solid lead-out cast as well (Hunter & Fischer; plus Rasmussen in Oman). If I'm going to succeed at this game Farrar needs to be my points workhorse.

Speaking of Pinot and speaking of startlists - what does everyone expect him to do this spring? I think it will look something like this:

Etoile de Bessèges: Feb 1 - Feb 5
Tour Méditerranéen: Feb 9 - Feb 12
Tour du Haut-Var: Feb 18 - Feb 19
Souvenir Francis Delpech: Feb 26
Tirreno - Adriatico: Mar 7 - Mar 13
Volta Ciclista a Catalunya: Mar 19 - Mar 25

hopefully he'll have 200 or so points by the end of March (he had 26 by that time 2011), more than that would be a real bonus.

Cycling fever then have him at Pais Vasco and Romandie in April.

I hope he ends up doing the Ardennes Classics. Maybe he is too young but i would have thought F-W/ AGR might have been good for his racing style and he packs a good sprint on a hard finish. He also needs practice before the WC where purely based on strength he should be in the French team ( if only to just help riders like Chavanel, Voeckler and Rolland ), though the future Pinot i could envisage winning that race if he was leader.
I hope he goes well on Mont Faron and at T-A.

Update 4: just some guy is still the guy to beat

The European season started this week with the GP d'Ouverture La Marseillaise. However, that race had almost no impact on the rankings. Instead it was the Argentinian Tour de San Luis that had some influence.
just some guy is still comfortably on top of the rankings although he only managed to earn 5 points this week. The big winner this week, however, is Michielveedeebee who not only managed to earn the "this weeks high scorer" and the "this weeks high jumper" titles, but also climbed into the top 10 - all thanks to Contador who earned him 129 points this week.

Top 10

1. (1) just some guy - 804
2. (2) Spider1964 - 630
3. (7) Mellow Velo - 605
4. (5) hilltopfinisher - 589
5. (3) Squire - 558
6. (4) benreynolds - 546
7. (8) TeoSheva - 542
8. (35) Michielveedeebee - 523
9. (14) CasperVG - 519
10. (6) the asian - 506

High scorers this week

1. Michielveedeebee - 184
2. Rocksteady - 163
3. Netserk - 118
4. djlovesyou - 115
5. Mellow Velo - 105
5. SantiBotero - 105

High jumpers this week

1. Michielveedeebee + 27
1. Netserk + 27
3. Rocksteady +26
4. djlovesyou +24
4. Jpettersen +24

Yes, dead last!

The season hasn't really started yet but... I hope some of the chances I took pay off. And the obvious picks I missed won’t hurt too much.

As long as I don't get as many dopers/longterm injuries this year.

Hurray!! NOT last place. I know my team would need to be really lucky to do well in this competition, but being off the bottom feels good.

I am almost in last place now :(

But it can only get better from here; I had no one in San Luis and Renshaw's my only Australian.....

For those who have Boonen, I read that he will ride with the handbrake on in Qatar and especially Oman. But will probably try his best in Qatar like usual.
