I'm very happy with the Rujano pick here.

Tour de Langkawi
he already has 3 points :D

but really should get somewhere close to 50 for stages, maybe more.
AT this point I think he will win the race. Providing he takes lead at Genting Highlands, he will have leadership points for 5 days (if he wins that is). so +40.
So maybe 100 points. +160 for the win.
SO maybe 250 points is a possibility for rujano here.
Last year he got 400 points for giro, I hope for something similar, I expect as much.

Plus some of the italian races, Giro dell'Appennino, trentino, coppi e bartali etc..
100 points is possible.. plus some points here and there later in the season.

I think 800+ is possible :D
Rujano is capable to win the Giro. I go for 1000 points with Rujano.

Zabriskie has a good chance to win the opening time trial. Which if he does, will be the only points he'll get in this race

Meh. He'll probably be in the lead for some time which means 8 points per day and if he finishes top 50 he'll score some additional points.

Like a BAWSE. 1000+ is possible.

Of course if he wins the Giro (Ivan, who?) 1000 points would be a let-down.

Hope to score some points this weekend

Omloop
Breschel, Devolder, Hoste, Langeveld, Vaitkus, Maaskant, Vanmarcke, Selig, Martens
-> Some guys to disappoint and some to help their leaders

KBK
Breschel, Devolder, Hoste, Maaskant, Vaitkus, Selig
-> same as Omloop

Almeira
Gesink vs Vanendert

Lugano
Duarte vs Lloyd

-----
On a side note, I just played with my spreadsheet and realised that Richie Porte scored 215 out of 284 possible points in his races so far (NATs & Algarv). 75% is a nice ratio so far.
Next best in my squad are Velits (54) Rogers (25%), Breschel (23%) and El Fares (20%). Hope El Fares can keep the ratio of his first 12 race days. So far at least one of my unique picks doesn't look that bad.

Yup, that's what I put as well.

He says he's climbing better than last year, but still doesn't know what stage 6 will bring. Who knows, he might be capable of a top 10.

No, the statistic was not comparing this years points with the points archieved last year, but about the percentage of points a cyclist scored compared to the points he could have scored if he had won every single race/stage he rode so far.

This looks like a good week for me. Quite a few points from Ruta del Sol and the winner in Omloop. Not picking Boonen continues to haunt me, though.

Don't count your chickens yet, think there's more points dished out tomorrow than the rest of the week put together.

Therers reason for everyone to be happy. Breschel last man in to qualify for "well done for finishing" pat on the back points.

So everyone gets 5 points.

Well done everyone:)

Lucky, you should move up at least 40/50 spots if you go well at KBK as well.

I only got 161 points:(

It was awful nice of Barbie to contest the sprint for his cq fans and get them some points, though one should mention that he isnt even a 5th of the way to his cost total, let alone towards making some nice profit (which is the reason we picked him in the first place) and he probably wont be so lucky in the bigger cobbled classics (to get to contest sprints for major points that is).

Classica Almeria has moved up to 1.hc it seems, so while under the radar, it is going to be worth more than the 2 races getting all the attention.

I had Vanmarke, Boonen and Haussler 3 of the top 4, cant really ask for anything more and helps me to start getting over Offredo:mad:

My classics team is looking really strong yet still waiting for guys like hoste, keukelaire and maaskant to step up..

I just scored with him and Boonen.

If Vanmarcke keeps going like he did today, I'm going to deeply regret not picking him.
