Glad that you enjoyed the race.
However you do have 2 stage wins 100 points and TJVG could podium so you are going better than most.

You're right, it's true that last year I would see the guys at the top of the board complain that they had a 'bad' week when it was much better than mine, and I was like 'well I'd trade you places in a sec'. There's pressure at the top to stay there, I guess.

Also, a quick look at the spreadsheet shows me that nobody else has Van Garderen in their team that's higher than 44th place, so I'm gonna cross my fingers that he gets the top 4 finish I think he's capable of...

I'm dont think Di Luca will score any points but I will definitely be interested watching that old fart. The only points you will get for sure are from Greipel, everything else is in the stars :D

Some of my big guns need to deliver at T-A, but probably not before stage four. With nine riders in Paris-Nice and none of them in the top 50 yesterday I'm used to be disappointed anyway:eek:

BOASSON HAGEN Edvald
KREUZIGER Roman
VANENDERT Jelle
POZZATO Filippo
OSS Daniel
BRESCHEL Matti
CHAVEZ RUBIO Johan Esteban
LANDA MEANA Mikel

Kiserlovski is my best shot at GC for Paris-Nice. Maybe LL Sanchez can move up a spot or two on GC after the time trial and give me some extra points.

I'm bummed Greipel missed out in the sprint today. There's another chance tomorrow though.

Almost wish I had picked a more unique team now that the season's underway. It feels like your team is only those riders that few other people have, because if e.g. Velits scores, it doesn't help you actually win.

Glad I still have a couple of less popular bigs to cheer for.

Of course it helps. It's all about the combos: how many people have Velits AND Boonen AND Breschel AND Rogers?

Me, I'm not doing that well in PN. Larsson, Boonen and Bole scored me some points, but I only have Kiserlovski for the GC.

I get your point. I CBF checking, but I suspect there are 20-30 teams that do have all those and more. Reason being it's about knowing or being up to date with riders, and if you follow cycling closely you'll know all the bargains.

Velits scoring will stop you losing, but it won't seperate you from the other top teams if you're doing well, so you won't win that way. On the other hand, the game's nice and obbjective that way. Like a race, you need to make the selection, and then you need to have a little extra.
