Submitted my team. So many obvious picks... Someone who will be brave enough to leave some of the hot names and pick some less bright riders might earn a lot (like me w/o Jungels in my team :p)

Well for the first time ever I have submitted a team. I think my nationalism is a bit strong (although not as bad as Zams) but I don't know enough riders to fill in the low levels. Pretty happy with it for a first try, and I know that I am up against at least Afrank as a first timer. Any other first timers in the mix?

Nationalism ho

Aussies 11

You might be in the lead after the first month.:)

My one moment of glory before falling to obscurity with the classics

I don't have Jungels and neither do the asian, Pentacycle and Tigerion unless they didn't pick that other Luxie

To be honest I haven't seen anyone mention him in any of the cq threads

I left out Phil in my first version but after hitch forced me to change my team I have now ended up without Alberto and with phil

Si, señor

He-he :). In this case, you received some really good advice.

I saw him for the first time live in 2011 where he won the youth jersey in Clásica Internacional del Café. He really rode with great authority.

This year I saw him on the famous Alto de la Linea in RCN and he was insanely strong. Really a super-talent.

The question is if he will leave his mark right away. Maybe he will need a transition year!

Damn I haven't left myself enough time to do this properly. Ah well I'm sort of out of touch anyway.

We're starting to have a competition here. With 8 new teams submitted in the holidays, we're now at 56 teams. I'm still hoping for 100 entrants, but that might be a bit too optimistic :)

I think you'll get over 100, Hugo. Last year I think there was like 50 entries in the last 2 days if I remember right, and I've seen some new entrants this year. I know for my part that I can't even start looking at my final squad (it's still in the state it was a month ago right now) until January 2nd, so the 5th (that's the deadline, right?) is the likely time I'll send it in. I suspect others are similar.

Not sure why is everyone ruining the game by posting clues for those who didnt submit their team yet.

whatever ....

I don't understand that either, but whatever. It's like the serial killers who think they're so clever they have to leave clues to the police, they seek the acknowledgement even though it in the end gets them caught.

Oh, boo-hoo. Your unique picks aren't going to win you the game. A huge stroke of luck with getting the combination of as many of the best value for return riders will.

Any*****s, almost finalised my team. I've got 33 riders but 100-odd points to spare, so going to try and figure out who's the best to upgrade. :D
