Ugh just 94 points this week  guess I will no longer be 20th after this week :(

Common man. It is still very early in to the season and you are doing just fine. Lot more points to be awarded in coming weeks/months.

Lobato and Novikov scoring 98 points today, finally some results going my way:D
If only my expensive big hitters could start scoring I should be able to climb considerably...

With more than 2/3 of my team scheduled to race this week, I was anticipating a good score. As it is only 3 riders scored anything so I'm quite happy with 204 points.

Novikov into profit! Hell yeaaaah!

1. RENSHAW Mark BLA 140
2. JANSE VAN RENSBURG Reinardt ARG 84
3. LASCA Francesco CJR 72
4. LOBATO DEL VALLE Juan Jose EUS 62
5. POULHIES Stéphane COF 54
6. VENTOSO ALBERDI Francisco Jose MOV 48
7. MATYSIAK Bartlomiej CCC 42
8. NOVIKOV Nikita VCD 36
9. SCHMIDT Fabien SOJ 30
10. VAN POPPEL Boy VCD 26

Now Novikov is suddenly 100th, so I guess he is not into profit yet. Always a bummer when provisional results are wrong like they appear to be here...
Still scoring with three riders today in Almeria with a total of 84 points is still decent.

Bisonte already better than his projected lower score scenario:)

El Bisonte 8 points already :) in not so positive news Joost Van Leijen all alone last almost 8 minutes down, still not on his old level it seems.

Man I was looking forward to this weekend so much, awesome cobbled team for Omloop and KBK, but due to cold and not reacting on the right moment all my team for Omloop except Thomas got no points and KBK gets cancelled. Also, Chaves for Lugano, but cancelled and he crashed anyway , I had some hope for Elissonde, Pinot, Taaramae doing well in Ardeche sinds it's kind of hilly etc.... :(:(

Only Murcia and Andalucia worked out with TGBM, who scored 124 points this week. :)

TGBM will kill everybody in the Ardennes if he keeps outsprinting Valverde

Meh valverde didn't really sprint till the line after he saw Navarro was too far. Normally he will be faster then bauke each time

Nothing much for me during the week. Think pretty much any of my riders who scored or on a lot of teams. 127 or so I think

Hoping the Weening does well today and consolidates a top position on GC.

No kidding! Big time bummer.

On the other hand, WTF happened to this clown Novikov? Last year 5 points, this year ... I wouldnt be surprised he would ended the season with no points.

Update #7: Cancellations makes for a quiet week

What should have been a really entertaining and interesting week was a bit dissapointing as several races were cancelled because of bad weather. This also means that the amount of points earned this week is pretty low.

This week's top scorer is CQmanager who has gone AWOL but finally has a fitting name, while Kazistuta is close.

This week's top scorers:

1. CQmanager - 320
2. Kazistuta - 303
3. gustienordic - 298
4. al_pacino - 289
5. Ambiturner93 - 281
5. Hugo Koblet - 281

CQmanager is also this week's high jumper as he moves up 33 places. Again Kazistuta has to make do with a 2nd place as he "only" jumps 26 places.

This week's high jumpers:

1. CQmanager +33
2. Kazistuta +26
3. Bellsax +23
4. al_pacino +22
5. Ambiturner +21
5. search +21

With a very good week, gustienordic moves into the top 10, as does jsem94. Meanwhile, the top 3 is unchanged and the game is hence still lead by Skibby the bush kangaroo with a 119 points lead to nordicICE1024 in 2nd place.

Top 10:

1. (-) Skibby the bush kangaroo - 1837
2. (-) nordicICE1024 - 1718
3. (-) Geraint Too Fast - 1708
4. (+3) DnthasldHoff - 1652
5. (+1) ingsve - 1633
6. (+8) gustienordic - 1631
7. (+1) adamski101 - 1607
8. (-5) AAC1983 - 1603
9. (+7) jsem94 - 1577
10. (-1) Bumeington - 1559

28th, not too bad. Hope I can get back in the top 20 in the coming weeks though next week isn't looking great for me.

My second ever appearance on the scoring lists is tempered somewhat by a slightly disappointing showing from my GC guys in Langkawi.

I decided to work out my teams points for each month for 2012, and compare that to 2013.

So far, a super january from Geraint Thomas leaves that as a very successful month, 422 points to last years 75.

With not much of February to go, the score sits at 1137 to last years 466, thanks to strong performances from Froome, Evans, Farrar (although he had a stronger February last year), Thomas, Lofkvist, Roux and Mathieu Drujon (my unique pick ;)). Hushovd also didn't do too badly.

In terms of ratio, both months sit comfortably with the 2.5x needed to contend for the overall win, so hopefully my team keep performing all year!

Taaramae picked up half of 2012's points in February so I'm hoping he'll come good later in the year.

Next target is 731 points for March, big performances from Froome and Evans will be key

Moving into the top10.. pretty good. I have some solid classics names, we'll see how the spring will be. This season has only just begun though, top10 now doesn't mean a whole lot. It's about keeping consistent and scoring well throughout the season.

I'm doing quite well in Langkawi. Weening consolidated 2nd position and I don't see him losing that. The downside in that is Haas slipped down to 9th overall and with only a 1 sec buffer hope he doesn't get caught out by a split at a stage finish.

Although looking at the profile for the upcoming stages anything could happen on GC with the walls they are about to hit :p

Looks like there was a couple of splits in the finish so Haas has moved up 3 spots on GC which is a great result for me today
