Wow didn't expect to jump back into the Top10. Gilbert might as well keep me up there for the rest of the week. Plus, this is actually the first time my submitted "head+risk" team leads over my not-submitted "heart" team.
Gilbert+Cancellara+Rojas > Ciolek+Kwiatkowski+Betancur+Gallopin

The "heart" team would be much more fun to root for....

No points for Joeaar in this week's update. Is it because of the umlauts in his name?

Yes, thats the problem with the excel, its based on names so when the name is not matching you get no points. CQ ranking is based on rider ID so no issues there. Two of us has him so I'm in the same boat. The cqmanager website is correct. Look it up there.

Alternatively cut and paste JOEÄÄR Gert into your team and it will pull through his score (make sure you've not got a gap after his name. Last year CQ had him without the umlauts. You might also be temtped to add the umlaut version to last years score of 29 in the 2012 scores sheet of the spreadsheet.

A whole 4 points for that, Kennaugh finally breaks his duck also yesterday.

Sadly, it took a TTT to get him some points

Good news today for us non-Gilbert owners. We may dodge a bullet this week after all.

Kwiatkowski into profit now. Sadly, I don't have him.

Henao should have been the rider to choose over Gilbert so far it seems.

Comaprable scores last year and Henao and his amazing consistency in doing well in every race plus getting leadership role at Vuelta and the Autumn Classics could easily get around 1500 this year.

Maybe not 1500 - depending on where he finishes after riding for Bradley in the Giro - but yes, for sure could be a good pick, if anyone has him(?).

element is the only one who has picked Henao. Before the season started I actually predicted that Henao would finish in the top 10 on cqranking.com this season, but I obviously didn't have the guts to pick him over Gilbert :D He'll end up way above 1500, I think.

I was so close to picking Siutsou- but then my scores were wrong...

Kwiatowski and Henao are looking to be good picks- is OPQS going to ToC and if so Kwiatowski should go.

A disappointing F-W for me- but i like Moreno so, congrats to him.

Finally some points w/Aru, Niemiec, Evans in the Giro del Trentino  The Classics have been so, so poor though.

Aru was a last minute forced swap for Ponzi when my team scraped over 7500 with the redistribution of Alex Rasmussen's points. At the moment Ponzi has 126 and Aru 99. I hoped Aru would get some freedom in the Autumn so any points at this point are a bonus.

Aru delivers! Been following his results for quite a few years, but didn't include him in my CQteam as I thought he wouldn't be up there in his first year as a pro.

I obviously picked the wrong GiroBio stars. When are Manfredi and Cattaneo going to start scoring? The former DNFed Trentino, a race where I thought he would do something, and the latter has been wasting away in Flanders lately. Great team selection, Lampre.

Dombrowski, who I reluctantly picked as I couldn't afford not having him if he was to set the world alight, finally got his first points today.

Dombrowski was always going be very risky for two reasons. It's Sky for starters, many riders ahead of him. 2nd, Sky don't put much pressure or emphasis on results in 1st year for neo - pros.

I am sure he'll show talent later in year in the US race, but expect him to starting scoring points more regularly next year rather than this year.

Update #14: Bye bye bicing
EvansIsTheBest is this week's high jumper, as he moves from 91st to 67th. ansimi is the only one with his name on both the top scorer and high jumper list, as he jumps 19 places.

This week's high jumpers:

1. EvansIsTheBest +24

It must be the first time this year that I am mentioned in an update :)
Hopefully I can continue on this trend with Aru, Evans and Rolland all scoring nice points in Trentino. Now I need Rolland to win LBL to compensate for the wrong Ospina winning the colombian ITT.
McCarthy, Bardet, Hepburn, Wackermann, Berhane and Coquard are all racing in Turkey. Considering the less than impressive GC riders line-up, I should get some very decent points.
