I thought i had a chance to move back in to the top 3 with a good score but there seems to be lot of teams with all four of Barguil,Talansky,Lopez and TJ. At least i'm pleased i remained in the same spot.

There does seem to be a error in the update of the Top 10. Squire is in 4th but he's missing from the top 10 list.

I think it should be Squire instead of Nicosix in 4th in the update

That's what i meant too.

Sorry for not wording it properly.

With Kreuziger, Der Tony, Jungels (x2) winning and Pozzato and Valgren (x2) podiuming their NCs, added to some other minor points here and there, this should be a good week for me with in excess of 500 points. Not sure it's enough to climb into 1st though, but it'll be close. Those 140 Vichot points skidmark got today could prove to be my downfall.

Edit: After a closer look and some rough calculations, it seems like I'll be staying in 4th, but within 100 points of first place.

Update #24: Vichot for Victory

It's (been) road nats week! An array of great individual ITT and RR performances from riders coming from all over the world, particularly those who "doubled up" such as Bob Jungels, Eddy Boss, Nico Roche, Daniel Teklehaimanot and Gatis Smukulis.

Outside of the national champs there was also a great Vuelta a Colombia win for Mauricio Ortega.

This Week's Top scorers

Rank Team Points this week
1 Pentacycle 708
2 Jancouver 707
3 nuvolablu 654
4 Amsterdam 646
5 del1962 615
= tanja 615
7 Hugo Koblet 608
8 Josedin 564
9 Squire 562
= Slapshot 562

All of the top three had Arthur Vichot this week, with Pentacycle and Jancouver also picking up points with Wippert (nuvolablu had Moscon).

Amsterdam had a pretty successful trio of Moscon, Jungels and Gallopin, whilst most of the top 10 picked up points from the likes of Gogl, Dowsett, Valgren, Pozzato, Kittel and Davide Martinelli.

Slapshot's unique pick of Adam Blythe helps them squeeze into 10th place this week.

Balearic Beats managed to select the two highest scoring unique picks of the week (Boasson Hagen and Groenewegen) without managing to break into the weekly top 10.

High movers this week

Rank Team Up / down this week
1 Amsterdam +16
= Pentacycle +16
= del1962 +16
4 nuvolablu +14
= Jancouver +14

The top 5 highest movers this week are also the top 5 highest scorers, with Amsterdam, Pentacycle and del1962 sharing the podium.

Rank Team Points
1 Emericlabordure 110
2 Eric10 78
3 EvansIstheBest 72
4 the_fool_on_the_hill 71
5 ironted 64

No change in the top 5 once again, although Pentacycle and del1962 do move into the top 10 and Amsterdam moves into 11th.

Green Jersey

Rank Team Points
1 Emericlabordure 215
2 Pentacycle 161
3 Kjellus 128.3
4 Jancouver 126
5 Slapshot 119

Quite a bit of action in this competition this week sees Emericlabordure's lead significantly closed by Pentacycle who moves into 2nd. Jancouver and Slapshot also move into the top 5.

This Month's Top Scorers

Rank Team Points this month
1 Kjellus 2199
2 Squire 2172
3 jeroenk 2103
4 Cykeltyven 2067
5 StephenC2020 2047
6 skidmark 2038
7 waleweter 2031
8 Vesica 2014
9 Hugo Koblet 1992
10 CraZyCaLL 1986

Kjellus tops this month's charts with Squire's strong week putting them in 2nd. jeroenk rounds out the monthly podium which is very significant because...

Top 10 Overall

Rank Team Points this week Up / down
1 jeroenk 8768 +1
2 Skidmark 8676 +1
3 Kjellus 8653 -2
4 Squire 8557 =
5 theasian 8421 =
6 vladimir 8175 +1
7 abbulf 8155 +2
8 Maaaaaaaarten 8097 -2
9 CraZyCaLL 8096 +1
10 Nicosix 8087 +3

jeroenk is now on top of the leaderboard! skidmark also moves up one place into 2nd and Kjellus drops to 3rd despite that really strong monthly performance. Hard to read too much into it at this stage as the top three are separated by only 25 points. So, in that sense, jeroenk can thank Enrico Battaglin for the fact that he is ahead this week.

Squire has, however, closed the gap to 1st place to just over 100 points with a strong weekly performance.

Previous leaders Nicosix and LaFlorecita both recover slightly from bad weeks to rise to 10th and 11th respectively, whilst trackstand drops 13 places out of the top 10.

There are also now 60 teams with over 7500 points!

Thanks for the update. I didn't even realize I slipped so much down after the Swiss tour. I guess not having Lopez, TVG and Talansky hurt me quite a bit. At least this week I got a few spots back.

My team for TDF:

Alberto Contador podium favorite
Tejay Van Garderen top 5 contender
Dan Martin top 10 contender
Lawson Craddock top 15 contender and top 10 outsider
Diego Rosa domestique but could finish top 20, also a potential stage winner
Arnold Jeannesson top 20 contender, but could also be a spectacular flop

Those are my potential GC guys, I hope they make it to Paris in one piece

My other riders:
Marcel Kittel
Tony Martin
Arthur Vichot
Fabian Cancellara
Michael Valgren
Sebastian Langeveld

Like Flo I have also 12 riders for TDF (ranked by reverse popularity):

SCHLECK Fränk 3 - Top 30 and maybe top three on a stage?
GAUTIER Cyril 10 - Even with Bardet aiming for GC I hope we will see Cyril in a succesful break
KELDERMAN Wilco 13 - Top 15 and a stage win would be great
LUTSENKO Alexey 15 - Hope for a free role, and maye a trademark late attack stage win
VANMARCKE Sep 17 - Hard to tell
ENGER Sondre Holst 27 - Don't expect much from him
VALGREN ANDERSEN Michael 71 - Will work for others
VAN GARDEREN Tejay 84 - I really hope he proves that he is better than LRP quite early...
MARTIN Daniel 102 - Stage win or/and maybe top 10 overall
CANCELLARA Fabian 102 - Last chance to shine Fabian, I expect over 100 points :)
GERRANS Simon 116 - Has won stages in the past so why not...
KITTEL Marcel 132 - The few teams that don't have him will regret even more :D

And i hope that Formolo, Chernetskiy and Poljanski will be selected and do well in Poland!

I've got plenty of potential at the TDF, but it really depends on what Landa and Nibali are gonna do for me.

Tour de France
NIBALI, Vincenzo
VAN GARDEREN, Tejay
MARTIN, Tony
KITTEL, Marcel
MARTIN, Daniel
HOLST ENGER, Sondre
GERRANS, Simon
LANDA, Mikel
VALGREN, Michael
CANCELLARA, Fabian
JEANNESSON, Arnold

Tour de France
LUTSENKO Alexey - hopefully a stage
VAN GARDEREN Tejay - hopefully top 5. I expect him to do better than Porte
LANGEVELD Sebastian - 20 points for finishing the race
KITTEL Marcel - stage wins
MARTIN Daniel - could win a stage plus a top 20 GC
MARTIN Tony - Hopefully the first TT.
GERRANS Simon - One thing's for sure, he won't be Matthews domestique.
YATES Adam - hopefully stage win plus KoM
BARGUIL Warren - top 10
KELDERMAN Wilco - dunno
VALGREN ANDERSEN Michael - 20 points for finishing

Tour of Austria
KÄMNA Lennard
DEGAND Thomas
MARTIN Guillaume

Martin should be one of the favorites for this race considering the mediocre startlist.

My Tour team (biggest hopes in bold):

Valgren - don't expect much, as he'll be an engine for Contador
Cancellara - maybe a stage win, although the TTs aren't friendly to him so it'd likely be a breakaway situation
Stuyven - could place in some harder sprints, or win a breakaway sprint a la Trentin
Enger - could place in some harder sprints, but more likely overwhelmed in his debut
Craddock - I suppose he could top 20, but more likely is a placing in a mountain breakaway stage
Van Garderen - This is where I'm expecting a top GC placing; he looked good for the podium last year, definitely top 5 material if it goes well
Barguil - he has looked more mature this year; I could easily see him in the top 10 and with a few opportunistically high stage placings
Vichot - he's had a fantastic year, but this team is about Pinot... that said, he could place highly in some of the uphill sprints in the first week in trying for yellow
Chavanel - I expect to see him on the break alot, and is always a strong threat for a stage
Petit - he's for Coquard, but if Coquard withdraws I could see him doing well in a third-week break on one of the transition stages
Kittel - duh
Dan Martin - could top 10, will definitely challenge for some stages if nothing else
Tony Matin - like Canc, TTs aren't as suited to him, but maybe a road stage win like last year
Gerrans - hilly stage sprints for sure; could easily get a stage

So, 14 of my 33 riders are there; the Tour is always funny for this game, as it attracts the best guys and has the highest points, so I'd almost rather have guys race elsewhere. Despite a crazy strong lineup, I'm not expecting to roll in the points. That said, there are enough guys that I've gotta get something, right?

I'm hoping for someting in Austria (Guillaume Martin could do well in the weak GC field, and I have Yannick Martinez and Lennard Kamna too), and Romania (fairly unique pick Grosu will be motivated to do well at home), but the Tour is obviously the main event of July.

Speaking of July, jaylew offered a long time ago to do the updates for the month. I checked in by PM yesterday but haven't heard back yet; but that's the plan as of now. Thanks to Hugo and DJW for doing the last two months!

I'm afraid jaylew has forgotten about the update

Not so. skidmark said he would send me the info but he never got back to me so I assumed there was a change of plans and he didn't need me.

Hey, sorry, I sent a PM in the last week of June but there must have been some kind of error; not sure what, but obviously it didn't get through. I have been out of internet service since the last time I posted on this thread until today. I'll try to resend the info now, hopefully it'll get through and you can still do it and catch up!

Yates 2nd and going strong with very low expectations from me, and Meintjes (was) going strong and was on course for a top 10, something he can still achieve. Frank the only disappointment, I had higher hopes. I suppose Vuelta it must be, else a really disappointing year. Oh, and Hirt won in Austria and Ruffoni actually won something (twice). July has been good to me so far.

Typically for me I left out the yates boys this year as I kept selecting the wrong one and decided it was all too hard. Maybe I should have just selected both so I wouldn't have the issue
