De Plus got a hedgehog birthday cake, iirc the Wc athletics mascotte was also a hedgehog.
Is that the national animal or am I missing something?

I don't know if we have a national animal. I think we just like hedgehogs.

Actually I'm dumb, it's a lion. We also have a unicorn (you can thank the Scots for that) and the Welsh have a dragon. Bulldogs are well loved too.

I like EBH, but I'm glad they relegated him after moving that much in the sprint.

Briggs (JLT Condor)
Bibby (JLT Condor)
Tanfield (BIKE Channel)
Williams (ONE Pro)
Holmes (Madison Genesis)

Full domestic breakaway. Good to see Williams in the break too and Bibby.

Is there a stage other than ITT which is likely to be won NOT by a sprinter?

Probably not. Only possibility is stage 7 into cheltenham where they climb Cleeve Hill in the run-in to the town but from personal experience its not that hard a climb and I would expect probably all the sprinters to get over it in touch. No doubt a few puncheurs will get a small gap but will probably get brought back

P.s. I wouldnt even totally rule out the possibility of a sprinter i.e. EBH winning the TT!

Briggs smashing this today taking the sprints and KOMS so far today.

Lookin at profile I am suprised any KOMs today

Aye, although Holmes said yesterday the KOM's werent much.

The thing about yesterdays climbs and especially Winters Gibbet, is that the steep sections are near the bottom and the top of the climbs are much shallower (almost false flat), I have ridden the first two myself, but looking at Corby Craggs profile it is similar.

Catch, counter attack, counter attack brought back, sprint finish. This TOB is a bit of a disaster as a viewing spectacle considering they are showing start to finish. Every day is the same

Hmm... the stage finishes in Scunthorpe, how does the censor react to that? :p
(Oh, it figured out it's the name of a place...)

I have nothing else to add, just found the location rather funny...

Great to see EBH sprinting better recently than he has in years. Is clearly be the GC favourite but I hope that relegation doesn't end up costing him.

Poor EBH missing out again with such little margin

Seems he missed the line and pushed his handlebars to late. His body was ahead of Ewan at the line.

Another brilliant lead out by Mezgec - Ewan will be in trouble if Mezgec doesn't recommit to Orica.

Hey now, there's a time trial in a few days!

Today's summit finish was an amazing spectacle too!

I just find it sad that the organisers have a whole country of great roads and scenery to show off to the world and have come up with this
