Piccolo has finally scored a few points, hallelujah!

Looks like got dropped after being in the lead group though?

This team is beginning to follow the dispiriting trend of last year's. Medium and lower priced riders doing ok, but the non-popular expensive ones (Piccolo, Ewan, Lutsenko, Battistella) look like being decent-ish picks at best. Have already given up on Ewan.

I've given up on Padun already, dude can't even stick to the bunch. Also Lutsenko looking bad when other leaders pick up the tempo.
Won't comment on Padun, didnt consider him, but as for Lutsenko I still have a feeble hope that his efforts so far have been measured, and that he's slowly preparing to peak for the coming races in his program:

Upcoming participations
04.03 Strade Bianche
06.03 Tirreno-Adriatico
22.03 Classic Brugge-De Panne
24.03 E3 Saxo Classic
29.03 Dwars door Vlaanderen - A travers la Flandre
02.04 Ronde van Vlaanderen - Tour des Flandres
16.04 Amstel Gold Race
19.04 La Flèche Wallonne
23.04 Liège-Bastogne-Liège
01.07 Tour de France

Thank you, but that's made me even less optimistic as he has pretty much no record of achievement in those races, apart from one year in Strade/Tirreno?

Looks like my team was made with one particular dirt road race in mind:

Van Der Poel
Alaphilippe
Pidcock
Bagioli
Simmons
(All top5 candidates)
Gregoire
Honoré
Onley
Sagan
Stybar
(All likely team captains, though only the first three with potential for a top15)
De Plus
Brenner
Hoelgaard
Schelling
(The first and the last could potentially do something)

Last week was the best my team's had so far - 7th on the week and up 9 spots to 11th. This week so far: nothing in Samyn, then Grégoire, Piccolo and Baudin all in the top-20 at Laigueglia.

Strade: Schelling, Honoré, Grégoire, Alaphilippe, Onley, Baroncini (wasn't he supposed to be injured?), Hoelgaard

Then Svrcek at Criquelion with Malucelli joining him for Monseré, and Rudy Barbier at the French 1.2s.

Not expecting too much, will probably lose a couple of places rather than push on into the top-10 this week. Mainly hoping for someone like Onley to spring a surprise at Strade and looking at how Malucelli gets on in his first of (presumably) many Flemish 1.1s + where he is relative to Salby in the Bingoal hierarchy.

Askey, Grégoire, C Rodriguez, Alaphilippe, C Pedersen, Flynn, Simmons for Strade.

Not that bad, but after reading Kazistuta's I feel quite ashamed of my team...
And there will be many teams with van der Poel and Pidcock, so this race could really hurt me.

By the way Mulubrhan is into profit, but I suppose most of his season's goals are already done. We'll see what comes in addition, maybe some points from the Eritrean Nationals e.g.

My riders seem to prefer P-N to Tirreno this year...

Indeed.

My team:
Van der Poel
Alaphilippe
Pidcock
Bagioli
Simmons
Honore
C. Pedersen
Onley
Kwiatkowski
Gregoire
Hessmann

Someone could accuse me of picking my team specifically for this race. And I still have a few more good riders iny my team about whom I wonder why they aren't riding this race.

Very good week in the end with Plapp also finishing 2nd in the UAE Tour!

Two races coming up midweek before the big one next weekend!

Le Samyn
ASGREEN Kasper
MIHKELS Madis
VAN UDEN Casper
DEKKER David

Would be nice if Mihkels could start showing something. It is a pretty weak field here and a good performance would be welcome. Make me feel a little bit better about the pick. The same goes for Van Uden.

Trofeo Laigueglia
PICCOLO Andrea
HAYTER Leo
MARTINEZ Lenny
GRÉGOIRE Romain

Should be a race very well suited to Piccolo. Question is his form atm. A good performance would be welcome. Grégoire looks like a solid pick. Unless he got too tired in the wind today in France it should be a race thats suits him as well. Martinez looks very capable also. Hayter hasnt showed much yet.

Startlist still missing a lot of names, maybe someone more could still be added.

As expected, not many points in Le Samyn. Asgreen unfortunately crashed out, but is so popular it doesnt really matter. Mihkels and Van Uden need more time, but hopefully improves during the season.

Grégoire is great and Piccolo scored some points as well, keep it going.

My team was 6th in the last update, so just shy of getting mentioned.

Great weekend ahead with one of the first real highlights of the year in SB and then there are more races ahead!

Strade Bianche
HONORÉ Mikkel Frølich
GRÉGOIRE Romain
PIDCOCK Thomas
TULETT Ben
ALAPHILIPPE Julian
BAGIOLI Andrea
BRENNER Marco
SIMMONS Quinn

Decent line-up, but not comparable to some that has been posted already. Would be a bit disappointed not to see anyone out of these riders finish in the top 10.

Grand Prix Criquielion/Grote prijs Jean - Pierre Monseré
VAN UDEN Casper
MIHKELS Madis

Type of races they will hopefully start to score points in sooner rather than later. GP Criquielion has been upgraded from 1.2 to 1.1, so a few more points up for grab there.

Paris-Nice
MILAN Jonathan
SCHACHMANN Maximilian
PICCOLO Andrea
SIVAKOV Pavel
DE GENDT Aimé
MARIT Arne
GARCÍA CORTINA Iván
ASGREEN Kasper
DEKKER David

Hopefully Sivakov could be able to score some GC-points. Schachmann has won this race twice, but it will be very difficult this time around and with his troubles in the past year. It is not really that important for the game how he does, when he is that popular, but a good performance would be nice to see. Maybe the others could score some points going for stages.

Tirreno-Adriatico
PIDCOCK Thomas
KELDERMAN Wilco
ALAPHILIPPE Julian
BAGIOLI Andrea
SIMMONS Quinn
HONORÉ Mikkel Frølich

Startlist not completed, so a few riders could still be added, but current line-up is good. Quality over quantity. Most eager to see how Kelderman does here. Would be nice if he could be off to a good start.

Dont give up on Sagan for a top 15 yet. Hell of a Strade team
