Update #22: Armchairs climb the rankings
Apologies for the late update, this week has been rather busy for me.
This Week's Top Scorers
Rank | Team | Points this week |
1 | | 719 |
2 | | 715 |
3 | | 661 |
4 | | 648 |
5 | | 641 |
Armchairclimber wins this week mainly due to the efforts of Waerenskjold (unique pick) and Bernal. Pellizzari and Onley provided most of their remaining points. Jon Ezeitza relied on the efforts of Skjelmose, Riccitello and Onley to take second place. Jumbo Visma Fan closed out the podium with the trio of Bernal, Riccitello and Mas delivering most of the scoring.
Squire's gamble on Pidcock appears to be paying off as the Brit is now almost into profit and helped them secure fourth this week. After a couple days of slightly sub standard scoring, normal service is resumed as shalgo once again joins the weekly top 5.
This Week's High Movers
Rank | Team | Up/Down |
1 | | (+11) |
2 | | (+10) |
3 | | (+8) |
3 | | (+8) |
5 | | (+6) |
5 | | (+6) |
5 | | (+6) |
Squire and shalgo are far too well placed in the overall to feature here so armchairclimber and Jumbo Visma Fan dominate this category. Another armchair, Armchair cyclist this time, also appears on the podium thanks to Bernal, Riccitello and Mas.
Green Jersey Competition
Rank | Team | Total |
1 | | 229 |
2 | | 222 |
3 | | 180 |
4 | | 149 |
5 | | 138 |
Another week, another haul for shalgo who is now almost dead even with Googolplex. Everybody else is at least a weekly win away from contention.
Top 10 Overall
Rank | Team | Points |
1 | | 11112 |
2 | | 9591 |
3 | | 9519 |
4 | | 9498 |
5 | | 9483 |
6 | | 9350 |
7 | | 9245 |
8 | | 9242 |
9 | | 9167 |
10 | | 9077 |
Shalgo recoups all the lost ground from last week and then some, pushing past the 11k barrier while no one else is even close to reaching 10k. EITB holds steady in second place while adamski101 takes skidmark's spot on the podium. There was a little reshuffling lower down the top 10 as well but remarkably nobody dropped out.
For historical context, shalgo's score is already higher than the leading score
after the Tour de France in 8 of the 13 editions of the game. That's pretty impressive considering there's more than a month to go before we reach that point.
