Ok, now I see that I previously overlooked one obvious high price pick. My team is taking shape.

My team passed the Skidmark check. Exactly at 7500 points. When teams are announced lack of time spend on it will be clear as then some obvious picks I omitted will be clear. Or not! Let's see.

Ah, mine is also exactly 7500. Perhaps we have the exact same team ;).

My team for 2025 seems very peculiar in some ways and nothing alike the teams I submitted in the previous 2 years.

The current version of my team also looks quite different from what I've submitted the previous 2 years.
It is however a lot less peculiar, and I expect its popularity score to be way higher as a result.

I sent in my team the other day (7499pt), and I honestly think it's my most uninspired one ever. I also really don't care at all about most of the riders, and struggle to see this change much.

Let's see if it turns out to be a key to success ;)

This is, unfortunately, exactly the same feeling I have this year. What you're probably supposed to send in if you want to be competitive is, I'm really unenthusiastic about. So I'm probably just gonna go in a completely different direction and just register a team that I think will be fun to follow.

Not really sure what people want when they don't feel inspired by their team but for me part of the inspiration of this game is that since you typically get riders from teams you don't really care that much about by default, the games makes me interested in following that team during the year.

For example I don't really have any special feeling about Bora but last year I had Vlasov, Higuita and Martinez in my team so that makes it interesting to follow them. And even though I do like Vaughters so EF has some interest to me but having Steinhauser, Ryan, Carapaz, Valgren and Rafferty made it extra interesting to follow them. It will end up being the same this year I think since I have some riders in teams that I usually don't have any special feelings about.

Like a few others I managed to spend exactly 7500 points and still have space for 4 zero pointer juniors who I have high hopes for.

Could be more variance this year as some riders who were looking like being strong picks surged late in the season making them look a borderline pick instead.

Who's gonna keep me company at the buttom of the rankings?

Started with 4 riders over 1000 points, took it down to 2, but couln't find space for other riders I wanted.

So ended up dumping the most expensive one so just one plus 1000 rider
