Romain Bardet to be sole leader in the next days, because it's June. #TheCostaPattern
Yeah, I believe that he dropped out of the race during the Dauphine last year.
Yes, but it's not a pattern yet. :D

I fear that Marcato has left it too late this year! His strongest competitor will be Kreder or Swift I think. Not many random names yet this year, but then again the Chinese races are always late

If B stands for Brenton, then Jones and Domagalski are both out in the last two days thanks to the Tour de Korea.

It is indeed. Francesco Chicchi is another rider to have dropped out since the last update.

Kelderman out!

Has the prologue finished yet?

Damn sorry - PCS have the stage results up as if the stage has finished, but only 104 finishers, so I guess not yet.

No worries, I was just wondering myself. Though in fact I think his time has just been bested.

It's almost a pity that Bardet will inevitably win some stage of something. He could otherwise be on course for a crushingly huge record.

You could argue that the entire concept of this thread is kinda strange. Considering how we talk about a rider losing when he finally wins.

Re: The Amazing Race to Most Top10 Without a Win - 2016 Edit

Who is the ultimate winner of this competition? The one who has the most top10 without a win, or the one who comes 2nd in this?

There's a point I'd like to make about that: while we don't count .2 results, I imagine a rider who takes lots of .1+ top 10s but also takes some wins at .2, probably doesn't consider his season a failure, so the true "winner" in my mind shouldn't have any .2 wins - which would exclude dudes like Baptiste Planckaert.
