Costa with another t-10 now comfortably in the lead. Bad luck today with so many contenders wanting to fight it out.

He ended up missing out on the top 10 (15th on the stage), but he's still 5 clear ahead of Gallopin.

Commiserations to Bardet. I guess he got carried away by the atmosphere of the occasion.

Meanwhile, Costa kept his cool today and now takes the lead. Watch and learn Romain

I fear for Costa that he's gonna win this comfortably, he seems in ok shape but not in winning shape, and there's still some races that suit his top10 ambitions like San Sebastian, Lombardy, Olympics, ...

I might have a bit of work on my hands. I'm not sure if it's particularly common for a rider to hit the 20 mark in June.
I didn't have to go back very far. At the completion of the 2014 Giro d'Italia on June 1, Domenico Pozzovivo had 23 top tens without a win.

Baptiste Planckaert and Antoine Demoitié will have better calendars this year, I think, which will serve them well. There's bound to be some Topsport Vlaanderen durable guy who can sprint at the end of eleventy-billion Belgian 1.1 races and semi-Classics like van Asbroeck two years ago and Theuns last year. Who will that be, van Rooy? Capiot?
Randomly scrolling through a thread, and damn I'm sad right now :( . So much has happened this year

Well, Vicente García de Mateos has had more than 9 top tens, so it shouldn't be. But I don't know anyone else with a similar surname.
