Couple more thoughts on this article having read it twice from the online article and the print article now.

-Landis asserts he unwittingly played into the guiding hand of omerta, via calls from LA urging him to stay quiet, canned press conference statements that made him uncomfortable, etc. Yet I find his subsequent prosecution of his innocence to be quite sophisticated and aggressive, from scurrilous calls to LeMond in an effort to silence him, these so-called hacking attempts, book, defense donations, website saying 'they convicted an innocent man'.....I guess someone else engineered all that too.

-Speaking of Omerta. Why isn't Landis REALLY outing everyone he knows something about? The article leads us to believe that Landis found himself on the USPS pro team with no prior experience in doping and Armstrong/Bruyneel taught him how to do it all. Next, he moves on to Phonak and they have no experience with doping? Does anyone here really believe this? Pretty much all doping in cycling began and ends with Bruyneel and Armstrong. Not really an encouraging position for those wanting a cleaner sport, but a wet dream for those wanting to see the destruction of Armstrong.

Wow!

I found the "sour milk" argument particularly persuasive, cutting straight to the core of the matter. chapeau lanceco

In the states, dope is slang for Marijuana. Lance probably doesn't smoke, or at least inhale. Rationally, he probably believes he doesn't dope.

You said that you read the WSJ a couple of times - where does it mention Marijuana?

My question was to 'WGR", and Lance denied Floyds story - so if "everyone knows everyone" is doing it then why the need to keep denying the fact?

Yeah seems the Shack are a little worried and on the topic of Eurosport since when has Harmon been a wannabe Phil or Paul?

Landis is also being portrayed as a bit of an investigator. Calling up a team sponsor himself to find out why he can't get a proper bike that will see him to the finish of a big race.
This guy clearly has a mind of his own. This makes his cheating an act of evil on one hand, but his coming out about it all, again comes across as sincere.

If the guy is so inquisitive about team policies, and observative about how other riders prepare, who dares to bet he didn't record as much as he could, for later use? Blackmail is a crime with a low threshold. His emails to try and get a ride on Shack were even labeled as such by Armstrong and Bruyneel?
What if he just sits on the little evidence he did care to gather? Like a video log for instance, from his USPS times.
I tend to believe that he doesn't hve proof of Armstrong or any other rider, I suppose) having committed doping, but he may well have taken pictures of double wall coolers with blood bags, for instance.

Because unlike me, he never expected to be throttled by the system.

Don't you see how that cuts to the heart of his feelings of disillusion? That he had his one Tour taken away from him, while Lance got to keep seven dirty ones.

Landis never expected he would have to or want to expose all of the cheating...

Hmm..... does @spokesman follow you on Twitter??

I have only seen the 'injuction' mentioned here and then it got picked up on twitter - although the statement that it was 'RadioShack' not LA is new.

when men take steroids it affects their sex drive, giving them an enormous desire. A canadian journalist did the illegal stuff to get toned with creatine and roids to build a body no too dissimilar to Uniballer, but a bit more muscular upper body. He was having to masturbate 3 times a day due to the roids...

For me it was only two times per day - usually early afternoon and evening. So a typical day in California was:

wake-eat-gym-home-eat-jerk it-nap-ride-home-eat-chill-jerk it-sleep; repeat

I don't recall much about Radioshack in the article. Maybe that's why there isn't much about them?
