Be sure to show your mom some love on Sunday (and every day after that). Seriously, it’s the cool thing to do. Even kittehs are doing it!

Because, after all, moms never stop working to fix our problems…

Cobbledy, is that a big male cat? Here's his female version. :)

she's not really as round as she looks, fluffed up belly fur. :)

Yeah Johnny is male and normal size for a European housecat, sporty and lean, but he has big feet, which looks really cool.
Well actually, not 100 % male any more since he was around 1 year old.
Just 98% male.
Hope he doesn't catch me writing this. He doesn't like those jokes, you know.....

He is one of the most lovely, cuddly, communicative and affectionate cats I ever met.
But actually, when this guy is outside, he turns into a terrible, cruel killing and torturing machine.
He is the honeybadger in da hood. He brought home countless dead and half-alive animals of all kind. He doesn't know mercy.
Sometimes, I had to "finish" it, because it was so cruel.
Big birds, small birds, fish (from the neighbours ponds), frogs, toads, rats, mice, moles.....neighbours' gay dackel dogs flee inside when he goes out....other cats, besides his mother, rarely show up...and if they do, it gets ugly.

This total contrast is really impressive. I have never seen this before.
He is lying on my legs right now, on his back, snoring and, like often, "holding" my hand.
Thats sometimes sweaty, but things could be worse. :)

I have a female version too:

She's timid and, to our pleasure, not all that good at hunting. She's a bit of a princess really, with lots of making sure she looks and feels just right. She's also not that affectionate (and we had hoped for a smoocher, lol). We love her to pieces. :)

That reminds me of my brother's cats and his comment. They were adopted by a cat, whose owner then reclaimed here. He then adopted another cat, and the personalities couldn't have been more different.

He said, "We went from a Biker Chick to Miss Priss."

Funny thread.

My cat is becoming kind of a hunter. He started with small birds and mouses and also a sporadic fish, but he's been taking home bunnies lately.

Only the legs were left when I arrived at the scene.

He's becoming quite arrogant about it.

Great fella though.

We had a great black-and-white cat when I was a teenager, who specialized in squirrels. We knew when he had struck again because we would find the squirrel tail on the front porch.

It drove our (mostly) cocker spaniel nuts. His greates desire in life was to catch a squirrel, and he never even came close.

(Our mighty hunter just decided she absolutely had to curl up on mom's lap....)

Gorgeous cat there Boomcie. And an interesting red triangular spot in the eye.
But actually he's quite proud of his catches by leaving you a "gift" of half-bunny. Ours has brought home pheasants and left them on the driveway.

haha love all the new posts. :)
cobbledy, your cat is a streetfightin' cat...tough one! Interesting how these kitties can be so cruel and harsh outside...then little angels when they are up for pets.
nice posts all...this is an interesting thread and a fun side to 'serious' cyclists---just like the kitties :)

Wow, pheasants... That's big. They scare my cat.

We kind of have a pet pheasant though. He comes every (really, every) morning and knocks on the window with his beak. He's always accompanied by a few lady-friends. My theory is that he recognizes another male in the window and attacks him every morning to impress the ladies. Quite a funny sight though. We called that pheasant Ferdy.

Our cat brings home a lot of gifts, problem is that he sometimes leaves their intestines on the rug. That sucks :)

And most of the time he's such a hygiene freak, his instincts must get the best of him sometimes. He's so amiable with everyone, I can't believe he kills.

The winter here was so hard a pheasant came into our backyard and even up on the patio table. Kitty was wild to go outside and get him, but I figured he was a lot bigger and nastier than she is, so she stayed inside.

Yeah, behind the window he can act all cool, but once he's outside, he really gets too afraid sometimes. He's cool though and has a lot of street cred. I recently found out he eats the food of other cats in our neighborhood and sometimes sleeps in their baskets while they sleep on the floor. That surprised me massively, cause he's such a pµssy most of the time. My gf also loves him to death.

Cats are way stronger than they look, I saw one fighting a dog once, the dog just ran away...
