Foxxy is Horner more or less suspicious than Froome? I mean, Froome put up super human climbing watts and super human TT watts for an entire Tour de France. Horner won a stage in the Vuelta.

All i know is that Contador is more suspicious than Froome because he is spanish so i wonder where Horner fits into that theory.

As I've said before the Japanese 'honor code' is 2nd in the world and we all know that the Brits have the best 'honor code'.

Everyone is suspicious to me. I just cannot forgive and forget the 90's and early 2000's.

Clinic 12 4-ever.

It would be the 'Honour Code' though.

And get some new material. Trying to get more laughs from a recent post looks pretty desperate.

Unless they need a little girl from apartheid South Africa to run for the Queen. Then they give out expedited passports like candy...

Let's cool it with the personal remarks. This goes for everybody.

My apologies for irritating foxybrown. It seems my old avatar and signature still has the desired effect after all this time. I have changed both in the hopes of more meaningful debate when I post in a thread, especially a thread this funny.

Contador is also suspicious because he has failed a doping test, no? You can try and make it about nationality all you want.

Someone like me, I'm not a fan of Horner. I actually cannot stand him. What I cannot forget is watching him do some pretty amazing things on a bike in the US circuit in the 90's. He was head and shoulders above just about everyone. Froome wasn't head and shoulders above anyone before miraculously being head and shoulders above everyone in the world.

I like Horner. He's normally a breath of fresh air except when he has LAs jock around his neck. Doping? Who isn't? Nibali? Roche? Valverde?

Horner has a pedigree. Had it his entire career.

Horner had a bad ponytail/balding mullett thing. Strike one.

Horner defended the indefensible. Strike two.

Horner has always climbed with the best. When he starts smashing everybody in the TT, a la Froome and Contador and LA before him, that will be strike three.

Failing or not failing doping tests doesnt mean much in cycling.

Id say Froome is a lot more suspicious based on donkey-racehorse transformation and Armstrong climbing times. Did Contador ever do any superhuman climbing? (except Verbier but he probably had a tailwind there)

Not that i think Contador is clean of course.

Anyway, it was Foxxxy that brought up the nationality nonsense to explain why Contador is suspicious.

I forgot that Brits have a fetish for U's, my bad.

You ever read stuff in the clinic? Repetition is what makes the clinic infamous. Just as I thought I was getting used to the clinic the rug has been pulled from under me!

All I have to say is this: to the people who don’t believe in cycling, the cynics and the skeptics: I’m sorry for you. I’m sorry that you can’t dream big. I’m sorry you don’t believe in miracles.

There are those here who may like Horner, but do any of them actually think he is clean? Or is that impression of Horner "defenders" a lack of self-awareness by those who cannot figure out that Horner is a perfect foil to mock the Froome believer's earnest defense of the indefensible?

OK the point of your thread is to mock Froome fans, everybody gets that but your thread has identified plenty of Horner fans over 1 Froome backer that thinks he probably dopes.

I'm glad that Horner fans are not being mocked, that would be very lame IMO.

Horner defending Armstrong after having made suggestions Armstrong was doping was it for me. Especially his defense last year when it was clear that the jig was up.

Horner reminds me a little bit of Ricky Bobby. He wakes up in the morning a pisses excellence and he loves that money.

The former is nice, the latter can lead to all sorts of problems.

Amazing that Horner can do what he does without the benefit of "marginal gains".

I would wonder how much better he could be with marginal gains but those only work for riders that suck. Anyone who has shown any potential to in their road career seems to get worse with marginal gain therapy. It's a conundrum.

He's American. I guess he gets marginal gains from a young age. What with tearing up the American scene. Hincapie is another one. The Stars and Stripes gives you wings.

Remember when marginal gains could make you climb as fast as Armstrong and other dopers. Now it isnt even good enough to beat other clean riders.

Who said Uran is a marginal gains recipient. Remember Ashenden said its small pockets within teams, not whole teams.

Only 2 Sky riders profitting from marginal gains these days, I wonder how they fail to improve the other 28 people?

Looks to be a massively different rider than the last year - Maybe DB decided to ungain him after he was rumoured (now fact) to be leaving.

Perhaps we are now seeing the "baseline" Uran? See how turp'd up he is under Omega-Quickstep regime.....
