Tricycle Rider said:I wasn't really suggesting a bunny could breed with a squirrel biologically, I merely said the picture looked like a bunny with a squirrel tail. Apologies if I wasn't being clear enough, as we all know this can happen very easily over the interwebs.RedheadDane said:Looks pretty squirrely to me.
And I don't think a squirrel-bunny hybrid is actually biologically possible.
Are you a-livin' in a ghost town?JayKosta said:We've got a 2-tone squirrel in our area
Well, here he is again, staring at me... he makes the funniest sound when he's out of the water and you walk up on him, he'll go "baah!", and then ploop, back into the water he jumps.JayKosta said:Don't let him give you a 'line' about getting kissed !
Maybe just mention to him about his large and tasty looking legs ...

Didn't see the race, I went to Pimlico numerous times when our company headquarters were in Cockeysville Maryland!! Used to stay in Hunt Valley hotel, near McCormick spice plant!!Did anybody watch the Preakness today? That was as exciting as horse racing gets...some heavy bumping, and a big stretch run for the win.
EDIT: Also, Pimlico is getting demolished next week.
I think that we have discussed that I was at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD for a brief bit, but I didn't have much time to be a tourist. I went to Elkton, Baltimore, and a few places along the Bay.Didn't see the race, I went to Pimlico numerous times when our company headquarters were in Cockeysville Maryland!! Pimlico was a fun track.
Del Mar is having tons of attendance problems! One of the multi use proposals is to use Del Mar as a venue for people, to watch people play video games!!!
Overall horse racing is down as an industry!! If they are tearing down Pimlico, what is up Agueduct and Belmont!! Both are in way way worse condition than Pimlico!!
...You'll have to Google for the whole story, but Pimlico is still going to be a horse track, but with other stuff added, at a cost of $500 Billion to tax payers.
Read the room man, this is a thread with almost no traffic with a few of us tossing out something a few times a year. I'm pretty sure that Tricycle Rider and Unchained will survive my horrendous sarcastic misinformation campaign.#1. It's not taxpayer's money, they're issuing bonds to pay for it. You really should look into how bond issues work and stop spreading misinformation.
#2. And it's not $500 billion (with a "B"). Formula one circuits only cost $500,000,000 million (with an "M"). You could build a base on the moon for $500,000,000,000.
The actual bond issue will only be for $375,000,000. You've inflated it more than a one thousand three hundred-fold.
#3. In the colonies, a billion is a thousand million, 1,000,000,000. In Europe, a billion is a million million, 1,000,000,000,000. Since this forum has a largely if not primarily European readership, perhaps you should stick to using numerals to represent large numbers.
I used to watch the Triple Crown races each spring but it's been a while, I completely forgot the Kentucky Derby even took place a few weeks ago and of course that is the first leg of the Triple Crown. I just prefer to watch cyclists bumping elbows instead these days.Did anybody watch the Preakness today? I missed the KY Derby this year because I was out riding, but I watched the replay later. I caught the Preakness while stretching after a ride. Today I caught the last five laps of the Indy 500 while I was stretching. I'll give those events 5-10 minutes most of the time.I used to watch the Triple Crown races each spring but it's been a while, I completely forgot the Kentucky Derby even took place a few weeks ago and of course that is the first leg of the Triple Crown.
