Looks pretty squirrely to me.

And I don't think a squirrel-bunny hybrid is actually biologically possible.
I wasn't really suggesting a bunny could breed with a squirrel biologically, I merely said the picture looked like a bunny with a squirrel tail. Apologies if I wasn't being clear enough, as we all know this can happen very easily over the interwebs.

Probably a good thing squirrels and bunnies can't interbreed. Coz that would be too cute!

We've got a 2-tone squirrel in our area
Are you a-livin' in a ghost town?

That's Madness! Or at least one of the specials. I guess it is caught up in the rat race. It won't be a major news story on my radio, more of a three minute hero.

I've got a message for you, Rudy: perhaps it can't stand up for falling down, or maybe it had too much too young.

I don't want you to feel too much pressure, but on the other hand don't do nothing.

If you decide to name it after a South African president, please don't keep it as a pet, or you will face calls to free Nelson Mandela.

Don't let him give you a 'line' about getting kissed !

Maybe just mention to him about his large and tasty looking legs ...

Well, here he is again, staring at me... he makes the funniest sound when he's out of the water and you walk up on him, he'll go "baah!", and then ploop, back into the water he jumps.

He seems to reside in the pond year-round, so that is why I haven't been able to clean it. I don't want to disturb his residence.

That was a 'rigged' decision today. I am by no means a horse race expert*, but I have seen way worse (especially on a sloppy track). Plus, the horse that was 'impeded' didn't win even after the relegation. The horse who was DQed was by far the best horse too. Somebody made a big payday.

*I've probably been to 20-25 horse races in my life (several at Churchill Downs...I was stationed at Ft. Knox KY just down the road), but I have watched the triple crown for 30ish years. At lesser events its often like bumper cars, or bumper horses I guess.

EDIT:

EDIT 2: One of the NBC experts said that it was the right call because "it nearly caused a disastrous situation". Nearly?! I hope that other sports don't use that standard: "nearly pass interference...", "nearly a foul..." "nearly icing...", "nearly a home run...".

Ridiculous decision, and yet another reason why I tend not to watch too many races from the US. Absolutely no chance that would have got overturned here in the UK. The best horse won the race, yet got DQ’d? Shambolic.

Hopefully your new roomie doesn't eat or poop too much, and as far as your other reference - we are still talking about the haunting resemblance between Froome and a praying mantis, right?

Don't remember who the original poster who mentioned this was though, I'm afraid.

Really humble, polite and very well mannered. You could barely notice it's there.
We came to an agreement to repatriate it to jardiniere in no time.
On our farewell I advised it to keep away from women, beware of sparrows, pigeons, even magpies and crows (obviously knows its ways through the bat land).
But I think women will come to its head, anyway.

Yes, we're talking about the resemblance... literally.

Did anybody watch the Preakness today? That was as exciting as horse racing gets...some heavy bumping, and a big stretch run for the win.

EDIT: Also, Pimlico is getting demolished next week.
Didn't see the race, I went to Pimlico numerous times when our company headquarters were in Cockeysville Maryland!! Used to stay in Hunt Valley hotel, near McCormick spice plant!!
Pimlico was a fun track.
Del Mar is having tons of attendance problems! One of the multi use proposals is to use Del Mar as a venue for people, to watch people play video games!!!
Overall horse racing is down as an industry!! If they are tearing down Pimlico, what is up Agueduct and Belmont!! Both are in way way worse condition than Pimlico!!

I think that we have discussed that I was at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD for a brief bit, but I didn't have much time to be a tourist. I went to Elkton, Baltimore, and a few places along the Bay.

You'll have to Google for the whole story, but Pimlico is still going to be a horse track, but with other stuff added, at a cost of $500 Billion to tax payers.

#1. It's not taxpayer's money, they're issuing bonds to pay for it. You really should look into how bond issues work and stop spreading misinformation.

#2. And it's not $500 billion (with a "B"). Formula one circuits only cost $500,000,000 million (with an "M"). You could build a base on the moon for $500,000,000,000.

The actual bond issue will only be for $375,000,000. You've inflated it more than a one thousand three hundred-fold.

#3. In the colonies, a billion is a thousand million, 1,000,000,000. In Europe, a billion is a million million, 1,000,000,000,000. Since this forum has a largely if not primarily European readership, perhaps you should stick to using numerals to represent large numbers.

Read the room man, this is a thread with almost no traffic with a few of us tossing out something a few times a year. I'm pretty sure that Tricycle Rider and Unchained will survive my horrendous sarcastic misinformation campaign.

First, Google it like I suggested (you could have saved your lecture typing):

Second, $500 Billion was purposely inflated tongue in cheek sarcasm.

Thank you so much for your lecture though! I'll be sure to revaluate my retirement portfolio now that I understand bonds.

I used to watch the Triple Crown races each spring but it's been a while, I completely forgot the Kentucky Derby even took place a few weeks ago and of course that is the first leg of the Triple Crown. I just prefer to watch cyclists bumping elbows instead these days. :D

I missed the KY Derby this year because I was out riding, but I watched the replay later. I caught the Preakness while stretching after a ride. Today I caught the last five laps of the Indy 500 while I was stretching. I'll give those events 5-10 minutes most of the time.
