Hi, frenchfry!

*waves*

My vision is not so good anymore, so I have to ask - how many spokes does your front wheel have? It looks like less than what I'm used to seeing, but then again, that may just be my poor vision.

Hi to you too!

18 spokes. I am not a really technical guy so had to go count them. They are the wheels that came with the bike and I like them a lot. The Exalith surface provides excellent braking.

I find it funny that the only remnants of Ryo's appearance are his photoshopped images by other members, with Rujano and in trading card form. :p

Yep, too bad most pictures are kaput.
Does anyone remember that time Ryo posted a picture of himself in a karate outfit and he said he gets aroused when looking at himself

Did this place get hacked? :D

So you're the CP I follow?

You're more of a Sky fan on twitter than here. :p

The image is gone by the way.

Yes I am, I'm sure you asked me this on Twitter before? Pic Fixed now.

Well I am a Sky fan but try and at least be reasonable to all riders when possible! :)

Sorry, I must have forgotten. :)

Cool pic. Your girlfriend looks very British but not you.

PS: Yeah, you're very reasonable. I don't take you as a Sky fan per se most of the times.

So following mew's tip and Pricey's contribution I think we should all liven up this thread again. Afterall most pictures are gone. Tomorrow one in cycling kit. :p

*Ryo, don't forget to repost yours when you're back.

Crit in Bend actually. It was the state criterium championships. I'm off the front in the photo.

Great stuff Afrank. Crit in Eugene?
Eugene (where I live now) is mostly flat, and heavily track and field - oriented... as far as sports go that is about the only sport you engage in that is not called "college football" around these parts here.

Bend is where the mountains are, so I am not surprised that is where Afrank attempts/attempted to complete his cycling endeavors.

(Not trying to be a smartass or anything like that, btw., just want to share what kind of sporting culture is going on here in Eugene.)

I've lived in Eugene since I was about 6. :)

I don't know if I would call Eugene flat, its got a nice mix of almost everything. Doesn't have really long and big climbs like places like Bend have, but surrounding areas/roads like Wolf Creek, McGowan, Grimes, etc. offer some good climbs.

Totally agree on the sporting culture of the area, luckily I do like Track and Field. I can't stand football though, couldn't care less about the college team (even though I'm a student at the college ). Eugene does have a very good cycling community though and OBRA is a good organization.

Tricycle Rider, do you ever come out to the Tuesday night crits?

You two are making me jelly. Night crits? Awesome. We have so few races here.

Tricycle, not at all. :) Thanks for sharing. But oh well, I've seen so many pan-flat crit circuits it wouldn't surprise me the least. And I like flat crits; some are technical and it makes up for things, i.e speeding up after corners, I think that sort of raw power showing is very cool.

Afrank, you study at the UO? I like the Ducks, my fav of the Pac-12.

That said, any of you will be watching the Cascade Cycling Classic live?

More evening than night, sun is getting low near the end of the last race. We have them every Tuesday night for 3 months (2 months this year). And after the crits end we have Tuesday Cyclocross.

Pan flat and too easy a loop is the biggest complaint about the course currently being used for the crits.

I do.
