I just wish that Hayter's chain didn't jump off (even if his own fault) and Sheffield hadnt crashed but other than that this was a really fun WC ITT Mens Elite Race. I wonder if Sheffield would have gotten close to the top 5?

I have a hard time imagining a scenario where he wouldn't have regretted his choice. With this hill, he would always have been the biggest favourite.

In a year in which Ganna has been less good and with a course that I consider well suited to his characteristics, Van Aert decides to skip the Worlds TT.

There are definitely some guys that were born to be champions, like Pogačar and Remco (they were at the start line today without having as good a chance as WVA) and others that are great riders like Van Aert that just don't have the same inner flame or killer instinct.

Congratulations Foss, he was the best today and won fair and square
