Ewan to Astana? Desperate times call for desperate measures.
Makes me wonder why Astana could not get Groves, Money could not have been the problem.
Vino really has his work cut out, if he thinks they can survive as a WT team after next year.

Life is not going that well for Ewan at jayco. But would Jayco send him to Astana, seeing they are not completely clear of the relegation battle..

I suspect he, personally, would prefer to wait around 6 years for that.
However, I was - as I suspect you very well knew - talking about getting 36 TdF stage wins. "5 down, until 31 to go!"

(For the record: Being 36 is... well... honestly, it's not much different from being 35...)
I know, I know.

The only difference is you get one step closer to the senior discount, thats a nice perk.

Apart from some riders stepping up from the devo team (Thierry, Tjotta, Svestad, Rouland), Arkea will probably not sign anyone new for 2025. Guernelec, Gesbert, Delaplace, McLay, Ries, Verre and Grondin are likely to stay.

Barré and Louvel will leave for Wanty and IPT (no idea if in that order), the future of Riou, Dekker, Rodriguez, Gugliemi and Owsian is unsure.

Yes in that order.

It's a bit weird, Hubert says he doesn't have the money, but they had an oral agreement with Aranburu and also tried to get Martin... I don't think they can save themselves from relegation anymore. Already behind and it seems with Barré, Louvel (ok didn't score a lot due to his knee injury this season but he is a good rider) and maybe Rodriguez leaving they will get even weaker.

It's unlikely Mozzato overperforms again at RVV and next year Uno-X and ChinAstana will be stronger than them. They are pretty much done.

Anyways I think the relegation / promotion is pretty much set unless a team from Cofidis / DSM / Wanty completely collapses or Uno-X starts riding Van Rysel for next year.

Barré is a nice pick-up for Wanty, will bolster the french calendar and the belgian and italian hilly races.

Why would they sign anyone new when they have such a parade of veritable star riders?

There is a big power shift on the horizon in cycling. The departure of Hirschi was announced some time ago, but now Ulissi is also set to leave UAE and he will join Astana instead. This, of course, means UAE are in desperate need of two riders whom they can send to the [[content deleted]] if there are some UCI points to be earned. There are two new 1.1 kings to be crowned next season.

Asgreen to INEOS or EF.

More likely to EF as Bettiol has left the team
Many people dislike him, but even the biggest hater of Lefevere would admit he knows like nobody else when it is time to let go. The past doesn't matter in sports, a rule very little teams and managers unfortunately know of. In the case of Asgreen even Lefevere left it a year too late, that man is washed.

Quite frankly, I would find it very funny if Asgreen ended up at INEOS. That team just cannot help itself, they are begging to be forever stuck in the limbo of mediocrity.
