so Alan Hatherly is said to be riding a Giant bike in 2025

I had an epiphany :D I know Lapierre talked with RedBull-Bora for 2025 (but finally they'll supply DSM). but if they talked it means Bora has no long term deal with Specialized. I say Giant leaves KernPharma and gets Bora and Hatherly will ride road and mtb with them. tadan!
just wild guessing :innocent:

Lapierre were connected to SQS at one point

She seems so much happier here than at Movistar! Very glad she has found her place.

No wonder she's happy, seeing that Movistar refused to start in the second half of 2023. Anyway, she's had a sneakily good development year and should have finished fifth in the TDF Femmes if she could descend. I also believe she did the fastest ascent of Alpe D'Huez. Finally, the team needs to give her a better program in 2025. There is no point doing the Aussie summer, and then having one race day in 70 days, especially, when she could ride the UAE Tour.

Speaking of teams that may or may not be in financial trouble, Miermont's current employer, the St Michel-Mavic-Auber 93 women's team, has been in danger of folding for months now due to Mavic no longer wanting to provide anything other than equipment to the them. However it looks like the team has been saved now, something which will be officially announced on October 10th. Their teaser includes a photo which I believe is of Marion Bunel, and if that is the case, then I assume she will (be forced to) honour her 2025 contract instead of moving to Visma.

St Michel-Auber 93 WE have indeed been saved with the help of Preference Home, a real estate development company. It's also now been confirmed that Marion Bunel will be moving to Visma on a 3 year contract.

Imagine winning World Tour races, off-road World Cups, World titles and Olympic titles and being called over rated. [[deleted content]]
The guy has won 5 WT races gets paid like he wins GT's. Off-road is a joke he can win vs that competition but not close most times vs the best where it matters and his checks are written imo.

Extremely overrated up untill now based on results.

You now he gets paid because of his off-road endevaours aswell right? He doesn't earn millions because he won one Tour stage. He earns them because he's a double Olympic champion MTB, he's a former CycloX WC, aswell as 2 more MTB titles.
All of that and some [[content deleted]] on the internet calls you a "overpaid".

No need to name call. Saying Pidcock is overrated shouldnt ruffle any feathers, results speak for themselves.

MTB even he is second tier and cycloX too if the best enters and he dont get paid to win that it dosent get revenue in return as its a mosquito sport in relevance to RR so if you believe that well then go figure. He can earn whatever he wants thats not my point, point is he is overrated based on results thats hard to argue.

How high exactly rated he is in order to be overrated?
He is never the biggest favorite for any of the races he's doing. He is one of the many contenders we mention and he is just that. Noone talks as if he's winning the biggest races.

He may be overpaid based solely on his road results, I agre. But how he is still presented as "the Olympic champion in...who rides for Ineos". I think that weighs more that a lot of results he could bring.
