That Lotto Intermarché merged team is about to be as bad as Lotto this season, but just with more budget and led by Intermarché CEO and performance manager.

Girmay about to leave to Israel probably, Rex is also on the way out to a big team (Visma?), and apparently others (I'm thinking about Barré who sees the opportunity to cash in after this year) are thinking about not going with the new project.

Like what even is the point of it all then.
I'm rather high on Slock personally, but you're right. Livyns, Beullens should've been resigned if you're not gonna keep L Rex.
Let's hope the Dutchies on Intermarché join the new team, they should give De Lie at least something.

Only Artz is potentially good enough imo and hasn't had the best season either. Taco's best days are over, Van Sintmaartensdijk is a decent domestique but he's not gonna move the needle.

I do think Beullens has a contract (I was told like 2 years ago he signed 2+1 optional year, given there's no rumors about him I think he's staying, not sure tho), but he also has had a pretty bad season. I like Slock, but he needs multiple steps before he can actually be of value in bigger classics or get his own results in Belgian semi classics. But yeah it's the only thing they can do, pray someone like Slock or De Schuyteneer (but he also needs to make multiple steps forward first) has a huge bump in level.

well I preferred the Israel-Premiertech rumors for Girmay, UAE has already to many stars wanting their main role in this or that race

That article isn't just stolen info like every other article they post, it's also a embarrassing misinterpretation of the HLN article. The whole article is a joke. No, Rex did not say Girmay is joining a top 5 team, Rex himself is in talks with one. Girmay (according to HLN and Benson) has serious interest from Israel (who have been wanting him for a while), but also from UAE (and his manager Carrera also mentions other teams but he just lies probably to up his market value) who are looking for a sprinter type.

Molano who was not let go by Gianetti (he could've gone to Movistar) might still get the green light IF Girmay indeed comes, but that's an assumption from Benson.

Which is why it's a good norm to link to primary sources in order to avoid polluting with misinformation.

If I was Girmay there is zero chance I'd sign for UAE. He will never be the priority at any grand tour or major race. If he wants proper support he needs to go pretty much anywhere else.

He would be co-leader at every classic that Pogacar doesn’t race but yes you would think that Ineos would be a much better option as would Soudal Quickstep from a sporting sense but they might struggle to afford to meet his demands financially.

It makes sense that UAE go for a sprinter/classic guy as this is a weakness in their roster. After all, they made a strong play for Philipsen last year.

Since Ayuso wants to leave UAE, why is it that only Movistar's name is being mentioned? I would think INEOS would be in the mix too, but we only ever here about Movistar.

More about the Fiorelli transfer in the following article. Interesting stuff. It's in Italian but you can use your browser translator.

People wonder if Evenepoel and Roglic will get along. I'm more interested in Evenepoel and Vermeersch.
