My dream is coming true! I can't wait to see him sprint out of the neutral zone while everyone looks baffled.
In all honesty, early in his career he was a really good tactician, the guy roughed up and beat Johannes Thingnes Bø on a final lap in Antholz several years back, and he was good at altitude.

Then Simon Fourcade got hold of him and taught him the true secret of race breakdown: to expend all your energy in the first 40% of any given competition.

I'm getting spoiled with these latest transfer news, although it wouldn't really feel right if Pozzovivo ends up finishing his career at a different Italian team than Bardiani. However, it did bug me that he didn't do TOTA in 2024 so I'm all for him getting to ride it one last time. In fact I wouldn't mind it if he got a free wild card every single year.

Would be a good fit. More and substantial leader roles compared to Red Bull.
Salary could be on the same level, weaker in team competition and high possibility to go to the Tour as domestique, lead a Grand Tour and one or two of the big 7 one week stage races. To me this makes sense.

Jai would be a good fit there. Would lead one GT a year (most likely Giro or Vuelta), probably gets leadership at 3 or 4 of the 7 major tours (TA/PN, Catalunya/Itzulia, Romandie if Jonas doesn't ride it and Suisse/Dauphine) and likely be a domestique for either the Tour or the other GT he doesn't lead.
