Yes, yes... Garmin. Took me a while to select them. I was going with my own DB of PCM and counted the ITT-Rating of all nine riders together. They just (thank god ;)) were one point better than RSH (so i choose RSH for the other prediction game. Good decision :)). uff ...

damn htc.

cav better win.
only 5 picked him today also, which would make it that much more sweeter.
Also neither lancaster or slyvester have him so even better :p

That'd be right, the only time I do well in a competition is when I don't count in it. :D

Yeah, go Cav. I am one of the five...

HTC don´t have all those TTlers they had 2 yrs ago. Honestly i am surprised they only lost 5 seconds.

Double-LOL. We have another out of competition winner: Cobblestoned is the only one who picked Farrar, yet he sent his picks too late. :p

The people who didn't pick Cav still kind of won, I'd say. We're all limited to three stages for Cav to win, I still got mine left.

Of course he still has to actually win those.

the first 2 stages put me equal with my giro effort. i'll be gutted if i now don't beat it!

sanchez and conti losing time isn't ideal, but too early to know until mountains.

Yeah, that's a very ballsy pick! Congrats Ferminal.

I would have put Evans in 2nd, but never in 1st. It was impossible for me to look past Gilbert on this particular finish.

What made you doubt Phil for this stage?

Nothing really. I thought he would have won all 4 of the serious uphill finishes in the first "week". So I had to pick which one was least likely.

The gradient, 1km @ 10%. If you forget Gilbert setting the record at Huy, as it gets steeper I think he becomes more beatable for the GC guys. Fleche 2010, Vuelta 2010 De Jaen, the T-A 2011 finishes into Chieti and Macerata he failed to win. This was the steepest of the four proper uphill finishes.

Then there was the flatter final 1km section, which added an unknown element. Would Gilbert still have his punch if he saved it until the final km, or would he be able to hold on if he attacked on the steep section?

Like I said though, was more an elimination of the stage I thought he was least likely to win, rather than suggesting he was never going to win this stage. After deciding against Gilbert, Evans was the obvious pick.

I have always been worried that Stage 8 or 9 will go to a break though, and now I think Contador is looking scary.

Let me call you Cycling-Professor. I think you are the favourite, even tough this game is like NHL-Playoffs. 50% luck is needed too ;)

Live-Update: The often picked Brajkovic just left the peloton in ambulance...

... and Kern.

Cav on the wrong stage: Only 3 picked him...

Know that feeling. But happened only once to me. At the TTT is was nervous nail biting every time another team crossed the line with 4 seconds down on Garmin... :)

Only me and Hartog with Eddy Bos as winner today, very important since my sprint stage picking seems off...

Yeah, I played Goss. Close but no cigar.

Me too. My top 20 doesn't look too well at the moment and I really don't expect Brutt, Steegmans and Paulinho to win the stages I picked them for (nor any other stages, actually), so I suggest that Cavendish be very fast tomorrow.

edit: nevermind, everybody picked Cav. I hope he doesn't win, then.
