Desperately hoping for a hard man sprint with Kristoff beating Sagan and Degenkolb... That scenario sounds great for me being the only one in Coppi without the gorilla or Cav...

So far my stage picks have been two fourth places, two podiums and two injured Orica's... Definitely could be better... (The Gerrans pick was however very very wrong in hindsight)..


Not a big fan of that last update either so will ignore until post TTT...

Only 7 stages in... and all that is left for us is hope. Not a good foundation...
My current standing in the provisionals looks better than it is, having 2 spot points.

Luckily tomorrow most in my division have Valverde. At least we'll either suffer or score together.

I chose Contador because he came 2nd here in 2011. Not sure I am liking this pick. We'll see. My other option was Rodriguez.

From what we know from the past, the first couple of stage picks are most important. Who havn´t scored big yet (which includes me) is pretty much ... well ... phucked (have no other word now, the red wine just kicks in).
Now the luck factor increases: Crashes, breakaways getting more and more likely...
The only hope now lays in a solid T-20 (which is normally my bread & butter, but even this is not going very well), and pure chance with the rest of the stages picks. My mistake was to not looking hard enough into profiles, otherwise I could have prevented the 4th places for zero points. I just used to much time with my T-89.

I wonder if I missed a rule change? I thought it was 1 point for eachT-20 rider and 2 Points if you have him in the right spot on GC. But it seems like it is only 0.5 Points for the right spot now? Cheers

No basic rule changes... Dont worry, they are set in stone...
I guess a typo in my sheets. I´ll look for that.
It is as you said 1 point per T-20 rider, two if he is right on the spot.

Edit: All correct Mutschi. You scored 0.5 with Greipel on stage 7, but the last provisionals are from stage 6. I normally do provisionals when the T-20 is impacted. That wasn´t the case yesterday...

Went on a limb this stage with Costa instead of the usual suspects like Valverde. Although likely still injured, not the best idea, but oh well, only half a point lost.
