out of that top 5 godoy has the bets itt normally. still quintana should take this eaisly. also tomorrow leaders jersey
How is Gaimon in the ITT?

I guess it does not matter if Nairo keeps gaining time in Mirador del Sol.

Did the other GC-guys had a coup of tea moment? Quintana is the best climber, but 3 minutes? That's not normal.

that's what happens when the best climber in the world attacks at teh bae of the climb more than 15 km from the finish, while the europeans are too afraid to not follow their teammate train

De Maar is also a fairly good TT'er. I can see him holding his position, but it would be extremely difficult to hold that podium spot at the end of the week.

godoy is 2nd in nationsl behind messineo. he can do top ten or maybe even top 5 tomorrow. top ten quintana could also do I think. gaimon maybe top 20

Phil can time trial very well (US Nationals Road Race solo break), but to gain enough to be safe against Quintana on Saturday? I hope he can but today was telling.

Flat, non technical. Wouldn't bet on any of the top guys.

glad to see gaimon lose all that time. it would've been disastrous for the winners list to have him on the way he just won from a break. quintana on the list is much better

Where does stand Brambilla stand on the GC now? (I have him in my CQteam :p )

Not on the result sheet yet, but hes at +4mins or more.
With a little wind tomorrow, he will blow off the road.

Edit: 36º 122 BRAMBILLA, Gianluca ITA OMEGA PHARMA-QUICK S a 12:19

Woke up from vacation, but no chance of a result.

Quintana had to attack from far, as Evans yesterday, to have option to win this race.. he is a natural prodigy and this is not a surprise.

It will be interesting his performance tomorrow in the ITT to see how good is he really in this matter. Maybe depends on the wind, but anyway is quite flat. I think he will lose some time in the GC, but the leader is more a climber than a trialist, so we will see.

If we go by just size alone, I wonder how Winner Anacona will do. Betancur has some pounds too. Finally doing something at Lampre. Tomorrow, Phinney will win. BMC took 1-2-3 on the first "mountain" today. 2nd place, Nibali.

And this is going to be Nairo's strategy for the next few years. Either on a submit finish or a climb with a final descent, like he has done a few times already. Attacking on the penultimate climb is not going to happen anymore.

Thank you. A shame, I had hoped he could finish top-15 with results like this.

The Dwight Schrute tribute suit

LOL. Good one. Just to clarify, they finished 45 minutes early. San Luis only has a finish line camera. They weren't ready. All that was shown was this guy telling us Nairo attacked...and is gaining....and then everyone finished LOL.
