Imagine if it was. The frame would look lovely and all the weekend lightweights would buy one, but you couldn't put any Campag, Shimano, SRAM or Mavic bits on it.

Except it would hardly ever break down, and it would have a useful life three times as long as other bikes

putting it away would be easy and starting the ride would be fast.....two times faster.

But they could only make it look so nice by not putting any shift cables on it and you can't replace the chain.
