It's simply fantastic what he can show on the mountain this year. Not just today, but also in other races. While many have already been left behind, he can still work in some cases. A well-deserved victory for him and the team today.

Yeah that was so strong I think he could also win the third stage. Although break control could be tricky. I don't expect the big GC guys to attack on that climb so coud be possible for Mads an Lild to come back on the decent and control to the line. WvA doesn't look like he can hold on on such a climb.

If I'm Pidcock I would try anything to make that climb hard. He really looks great but does he have the team... Howson and vader are solid but they are missing a de la Cruz; Vanhoucke or Christen to really outclimb Lidl and Pedersen so they have to hope that the GC teams drop him for them.
