Does he have more confidence than Skjelmose?More explicit confidence than either of those two.
Which is fine to have, it's just unnecessary to blurt it out all the time.

It's fine to have that mentality, it's just a little annoying that it also makes all Danish cycling personas on social media taking it for granted that he will of course always win Flanders, Roubaix, Worlds, Olympics, and what have you. As if he has Pogacar like status...
Well, it's a bit neither here nor there. Considering that he had a fracture on the scapula, it would for sure be necessary to have a short rest, so in that sense you could say that it would help him. But if he hadn't had the crash, it would definitely have been better to ride the whole race, also with the Olympics in mind.
In fact I think Trine would agree - being the local whips-in on the home front.Big Mads wants his compatriot Vingegaard at the Worlds, but Jonas Jr is on the way so nope ... (the joke is of course both Vingegaard and Pedersen have houses in Switzerland not far from each other so I suppose Mads has been around there, annoying Trine and saying things like, A kids for lfe, but the chance to win the WC does n't happen every day, and you'll have plenty of days to change nappies but only one to win the WC! )

i tried googling a bit and it doesn't seem like anyone has confirmed the due date.when is her due date? Quite understandable if there's a cross-over with the worlds.
(sorry I haven't followed the tabloids that much)
It's hilarious. Now Pedersen can say to Jonas, look at all these people online wanting you to race the WC. Do it, and you'll be a hero!i tried googling a bit and it doesn't seem like anyone has confirmed the due date.
So sometime between now and November I guess.
I can't make up my mind whether or not I find it funny that Pedersen is using the media to apply pressure on Jonas so Skjelmose will have a proper domestique.
Nice win today, beating vdP. Is he going to Worlds?
We realize that we may not have the same talent as Wout van Aert and Mathieu van der Poel, but you can still beat them if you ride smart in the races and Mads is incredibly smart."
Notice how that is not what SQS says regarding Remco. So smart is the new EPO? When we see Pogi & Vingegaard doing online courses then we'll know something's up!

Original podcast at -"It's not forbidden to be intelligent and creative," explains the 1996 Tour de France winner and compatriot of Jonas Vingegaard, Bjarne Riis via the Cafe Eddy podcast. "If you're up against someone who's stronger than you, the only way you can beat them is by thinking smart. You have to be smarter than the others."
Not smart enough? No Tour this year.

Kind of a bummer, but at least he'll be riding the Giro, which I'm starting to look forward to more and more given the start list.No Tour this year.

With no chance in Rwanda, I don't think that makes sense (for the team). Helping Milan in the flat sprints and going for his own chance the rest of the time would still leave him with his best chances for stage wins in the Tour.No Tour this year.

Oh God help me, I'm fighting the urge to go count all his "(im)potential" wins..! I'm really pumped up on delusional cyclo-patriotism for the start of the season...but at least he'll be riding the Giro
I think that maybe for those stages that Milan can’t go for the win, and Pedersen could go for it, they will bring Nys. Since that would work best with the schedule from Nys.With no chance in Rwanda, I don't think that makes sense (for the team). Interesting, this opens the door for Nys.No Tour this year.

It makes perfect sense for Pederson to ride the Giro and the Vuelta. He's nailed on to win a stage or more at each.
Not Nys! Not Nys at all...Again with the blatant attempts at Swedifying!
Mads vs Wout at the Giro. 😃I am a bit surprised that Pedersen opted out of the Tour especially after having to abandon it in 2024 but I actually don't think its a bad decision because 2025 Giro has lots of stages that suit him so he should have a decent chance of taking ciclamino and in the Vuelta there are also several stages that he can contest plus the points jersey too.
Milan to the Tour makes sense as he is one of the three best sprinters in the world and can still be very competitive without a Pedersen lead out and I suppose Nys will get his chance in the hilly stages.
Yeah, but no Milan with a Pedersen leadout at the Tour (while Pedersen gets to ride for himself on the hillier stages) is a bummer...I am a bit surprised that Pedersen opted out of the Tour especially after having to abandon it in 2024 but I actually don't think its a bad decision because 2025 Giro has lots of stages that suit him so he should have a decent chance of taking ciclamino and in the Vuelta there are also several stages that he can contest plus the points jersey too.
