You're the first to mention Van Aert?
Actually he was the second to do so. But since we're speaking of Van Aert and Mathieu, considering the way things looked in early January, this has been a good few months for MVDP in the rivalry. Stretches his lead in rainbow jerseys from 4-3 to 5-3, and now in monuments from 2-1 to 3-1.

Nerds really need to let go of Van eart vs MVDP its beyond stupid....

MVPD has kicked his ass entire life from youth and he has continued to doing so every time it matters in road too like at this point its beyond cringe and nerd worthy to even read the comparison he has kicked van aert ass entire career and still doing it. Van aert a stunning rider a generational talent but MVDP is and has always been a totally different beast!!

Nothing new hes done it their entier career...The top lvl of MVDP is simply unmatched and theres noone even close the the power hes able to put out when hes in top form its honestly scary how strong he is when hes on, just amazing!

Great win today. And today's win and how it happened makes me believe that his shaped this year is more peaked for the main spring classics than the last two years. E3 and RVV should be very optimal races for MvdP right now.

Van aert *** riders forcing a debate which more evidence u want hes gotten beaten by MVDP from early days when they was juniors to this days time to start watching cycling or understand what ur watching...just makes van eart look worse comparing him to MVDP who is clearly unmatched, Van aerthimself tho is class act so chappou.

As for MVDP hes simply unmatched when heson top form noone been close people remember what he did to Ala in strade to others at flandern even at subpar lvl etc. At top lvl he wins in a fashion and lvl rest can dream of

simply unmatched top lvl.

Fantastic win!
I have a feeling he knew all along how will things go. He put Soren Kragh behind Pog and Wellens, than whe Soren couldn't do it anymore, he let Van Aert do the bridge, and then BAM! See ya'

Dude, you need to relax. I’m happy for Mathieu and he deserved this win through and through, but you’re making it hard for people to enjoy his exploits. You’re not doing him any favors either as this type of fanboyism creates an aversion towards him.

Anyway. Congrats to Mathieu. What a display. That attack when everyone else was just dead… Especially when you consider the watt monsters he dropped and managed to keep off him in order to win. Epic stuff.

I wouldn’t mind Wout winning RVV this year (would be a shame if he never wins it) as long as Mathieu wins Roubaix.

sorry but did anything of what i said not be true? At what point has anyone matched MVDP power when he in form? Never, look at strade another time he was topform he made peak alaphilipe look like a amateur. Im not dragging anyone down and also the fact hes beaten Van Aert when it matter non stop their entire career is also true doesnt take away van aert is a legend but yes indeed this show yet again what he did to these watt monsters as you said what a monster MVDP is when hes in form just epic stuff indeed.

Sorry but Pogi is also the best all round rider
Pogacar is without a single doubt the best All-round rider in the world and thats not even close at all. Pogacar would drop van aert by 1 hour in a GT while beating him in flandern like how can some people write that and watch cycling at the same time...

If van aert is actually anything its the most versatile without beeing best and edging out in anything.

Ganna = Best time triallist in the world.
Pogacar = Best stage race rider in the world.
Van Aert = Best all-round rider in the world.

MvdP: "What the heck. I'll just drop these three and win!"
apart from pog also the best all-round rider this is true MVDP just put on another display of his true power when in form just as when he made peak alaphilipe look like a amateur in strade....MVDP is truly something else and in the fashion he does it is even more remarkable. truly one of a kind!

Van Aert said something funny when Belgian reporters asked him what he learned from this race. He just said "That Van der Poel is way stronger than anyone always thinks he is".

Congratulations on winning Milano Sanremo .
Why are you always writing posts like this as if you're actually congratulating the winners directly?

Cant wait for E-3. Wout, Mathieu and Poga in this shape, add some QS spice (hopefully), and an incredibly strong Jumbo, and this will be a much better, harder and more tactical race than what we witnessed today. Lets judge their form by then, but he looks imperious, and when he does stuff like today you can't help but think he's the best classics rider of the generation.

I wouldn’t be surprised if a fair amount of pros check forums every so often.
