What's wrong with him? Really bad Tour of Norway regarding competition. Curse of Trek got him I suppose.

Completely anonymous in the Ardennes as well... but he said he felt better every day in Norway, let's see how he will show up in the Dauphiné. Just kind of sucks to be going there as defending champion and then being completely off the pace

/edit: Sorry, just saw he finished 3rd overall last year

In the Ardennes he was still suffering from the effects of the Pays Vasco fall. It is really no good reference

And here it was his first race after a break, yeah last year he was 3rd, but last year he also peaked too early. He was getting better each day so i wouldn't worry

He should do Suisse and get his podium so as to get back some soul.

Team website seems to indicate that he will do Dauphiné... not sure if set in stone though. Would prefer Suisse also

Odd. I don't get why he and Costa decided to do the Dauphiné this year. Better chances for both at Suisse.

Yes of course his back problems are gone, you people have no idea what youre in for coming July. Be **** prepared.

I hope he attacks relentlessly and finishes 15th

Better then following and finishing 6th

True, plus Trek already have Zubeldia for that

You've been elected as the last Dutch hope for a decent GC standing. Time to stand up and earn your TGBM title.

His holy Baukiness has Zubeldiad himself in the top 10 today. I wonder if Trek is any use in the TTT without Cancellara. He'll have to look to Jungels and Irizar mainly I guess? And ofcourse the grandmaster Zubeldia himself
Trek could have done great in the ITT if Cancellara hadn't crashed

Hmm, jokingly said he would take back the seconds Gesink won in the TTT, Got his ass handed to him today by Bobby G.
Still a contender for a Top 10 this year, after a restday he's usually a bit rusty so hopefully he'll be better tomorrow!

Did great to make use of another bad day for Nibali. Looked bad in the descent especially compared to how Barguil went down, all in all a good performance from Bauke and he's back in the top 10 again. I think he will finish the tour somewhere around places 8 -10.

Everyone's just racing for 2nd anyways so you gotta take advantages of these situations to make up a little time on your direct opponents every now and then

The most epicness left in this tour is the gargantuan struggle between Boggy B and the Bauke Molleman of whom is going to be best of the Dutchies in the Tour.

Let that be an advert for this years TDF...

He was good today and his advantage would have been bigger if thomas hadn't decided that the stage was too boring for him before the last 500m. I hope he can get around 6th or 7th place overall at the end of the tour.

Nothing great on Bauke this Tour.

After a great Tirreno, where he actually attacked uphill, and after a good PV up until his fall, he's done nothing. He's in the top 10 for the 3rd year in a row but apart from the first time in a way that doesn't inspire anyone.

He better shift his goals to something else..
