Lets get this thread back on the main page, it makes me sad when all this Lance isnt there for people to see.

Did everyone see Lance on the TV yesterday? It was great and he looked like it was really easy for him. I wa expecting him just to unleash some awesome chuck norris style power, but then Asterix or whatever his name is slowed the bunch before Lance could drop everyone.

Anyway, its good cos it will be more of a excitement when he dominates on the pavel tonight. the only problem that I have is that phil and Paul do not talk about Lance enough and they explain cycling in a very complicated way so its hard for me to understand. I know that they are professionals and htey know lots about cycling but they should dumb it down a bit so the fans can understand.

Cant wait for tonight. LIVESTRONG

Ban this troll. He's obviously playing the over-the-top-cliché-LAfanboy card to annoy people in order to assert a stereotype.

gtfo.

It's satire and it brings much needed light relief and perspective to this at-times-all-too-serious topic. Wonderlance is one of my favourite posters.

Exactly, it just gets boring and the same after a while.

Sorry, totally inappropriate.
Posted it before I thought about it. I have to realise that there are people from all nationalities and it is not acceptable o make such a comparison. When I copied the pic it was quite small and I did not realise the quote and the pic actually meant until I read it and was only making it as a joke of WonderLance and not of the people who were victims of Goebbels actions.

Deepest apologies.

So you are now blaming the failure of Evens on ethnic minorities?

I dont get it, I think he is doing very well and might get a 4th or something very exciting like that. perhaps he needs a better publicist/propogandist to spread the word. I knew of one but things didn't end too well for him.

Its not nice to make jokes about people. Sometimes you end up looking stupid.

References to missing testicles is garbage that borders on laughing at the physically disabled. You disrespect cancer survivors who have lost body parts.

Is this a view the Cycling News moderators support?

Its a shame he had a puncture at that moment, just as Contador was coming back, could not have been a worse time.

I also noticed that LA was riding a very high cadence on the cobblessections and he was bouncing all over the place. It didn’t look good at all and this was before his punctured.

Not a good day for the old man.

Have to say: he did put on a good effort coming back, after he used up poppo.

Apparently according to the media Radioshack have the strongest team.. What a bunch of crap.

I despair sometimes. Journo's need to sort themselves out and think before posting bull****.

If it outrages you then I suggest emailing Livestrong and asking them to contact its members to boycott the 'Juan Pelota' cafe in Austin,Tx.

I'll have to re-watch the stage tonight, but I think AC came back much earlier than folks are recalling. But as I said, I'll have to re-watch the stage to confirm.

Armstrong didn't look comfortable at all on the cobbles. But, to his credit, he rode flat out on the last two sections to make it to another group.

Found this photo of Lance and AC from Twitter.
This is perfect for one of those "create a caption" contests.

Just watched parts again and it looked like AC bridged to LA's group and then left it with a small group. LA wasn't looking comfy and relied on Popo to pull him until he was spent. Alberto looked to come through this test pretty well including riding a soft rear tire to the finish.
