The mods do not care a white if you are for or against Armstrong, Wiggins or anybody else.

What matters is how you express yourself and treat other users.

Susan

And maybe how many times you have been banned?

Good to see a few people standing up for fairness. If you make your voices heard then maybe the mods will feel they can't get away with being unfair anymore.

The things with Susan is, I don't think she realises just how biased and unfair she is. She may be completely unaware of what she is doing. But TFF, Brodeal and RaceRadio certainly do know. At times I can almost see them cringe with embarrassment after they have trolled a thread for 20 pages, gone completely off topic and used endless insults, and then Susan turns up to ban the only person that's not trolling. You can see them saying to themselves: "Geez, try not to make it too obvious"!

Look at TTF's post above drip with sarcasm: "I will flag every single time he comes back. It now only takes about 1 or 2 posts to know exactly who it is. I wish we could get him to go see a psychiatrist or something."

But it goes straight over Susan's head: "Thank you. That will make it easier for all of us."

It goes without saying that TTF has more been rude and nasty than any other user in the history of this forum - he rarely has anything to contribute on the topic. He's just here to snipe at Armstrong and Wiggins fans. He even boasts about ruining other fansite forums with relentless trolling and being banned from other forums for having sock puppets.

BroDeal is the same - he openly admits to being banned from this forum and now uses a fake IP address to access it, yet Susan does nothing.

And RaceRadio has insulted another user only today and is a legendary anti Armstrong fanatic that is always in a dust up. He has bragged about never being warned by the mods for his trolling.

Susan, obviously moderator of an internet forum was not your career choice - you're a writer who just got lumbered with the job part time. I'm sure you're a nice person in real life but you're absolutely hopeless at this job - utterly and completely hopeless. I don't know if you're intimidated or what it is, but you've got no semblance of fairness to the point of embarrassment. Sucking up to the three biggest trolls on the forum and banning people that are staying on topic, is really not a sensible thing to do.

It's time for rethink.

PS. I note you're now banning all new members. Lucky call on the last one, but I'd hate to think an innocent person was being banned. I have quite a strong belief in fairness, as you may know. (An alien concept to yourself.)

You know, I'd agree with a lot of that, it's not at all an even playing field here, but when are you going to realise that your obsession with returning here again and again makes it worse. When you come here and do your routine that core group of abusers get much worse, and you drive a whole heap of others into their camp. The whole board takes a nose dive in quality. I don't know if you've bothered to lurk between incarnations, but the threads were more interesting, better balanced and less antagonistic without you stirring the pot.
Seriously, why don't you just finally let it go, you've made your points more than enough times. You're making a pretty good board much worse, and doing yourself no favours- there's other boards around more agreeable to your views, be happier on one of them.

Who is Armstrong? The trolling has numbed me to the point of oblivion.

OH GOD I CAN'T EVEN REMEMBER MY NAME ANYMORE

That's hard to remember after 206 pages :D

52 pages if you edit your UserCP :)

Also, I am English, and a Bradley Wigans Fan, but that doesn't stop me from making cracks at him, and I give cracks at Armstorng cos he is a tool.

I think most people who have been here for any length of time (I lurked since May) are pretty much at the end of their tethers regarding that person. I think he has gone now. hopefully forever.

Race Radio has called me a "troll" multiple times:(

You would think I would be used to it by now,
but no - it still hurts.

Internet Bully People need to be more polite I think.

But back on topic......I am finding the intense early season focus on Lance this year especially interesting. Back in the day, Lance could suck as late as June's Dauphiné Libéré and still not raise the level of concern/ridicule that we are seeing this year.

Can anyone recall the Lance Obsession Level EVER being THIS high SO early?
No complaints here, however - it is kind of fun.

But expect Old Geezer Lance to be a gracious loser come July. C'mon, the dude is almost 40 years old. The fact that people actualy think he has a shot at the podium - both fans and detracters - is a little over the top.

and looking old here:

Though to be fair, I think it might have more to do with the camera's processor/color spectrum.

I'm still waiting for him to be better than last year because [insert reason]

Really, you think Lance is a sore loser?
Maybe when he was very young and brash....
But for the last ten years at least - he has been gracious in defeat.

Here is what he tweeted about today's winner:

"And Rabon smoked the TT - very very impressive. Putting serious time into Menchov, Wiggins, and Klodi aint easy my friends. #class "

He's only lost the only race he considers important once in that ten year period and he was a petulant child from just before the Stage 1 ITT until Stage 21 in Paris.

I am talking about Lance being gracious in defeat - not some 3 week long case of imaginary petulance. Petulant child? Are you sure you are not confusing Lance with Alberto? Alberto WAS sorta whiny last year IIRC.

Gracious!

The thing about that picture, what one needs to understand about that pic...

The last time Lance stood on that Podium, he was flanked by Basso & Jan.
Lance gave us the "Believe Speech" that day. Quite stirring I might add.

However, then came 2006 and Operation Puerto.
Basso, Jan, and even Alberto were implicated:(

I look at that picture from 2009 and I think -
****Lance no longer Believes****
Oh well...he will keep plugging along I suppose. He is a fighter.

But I still do not recall any comments after he lost that were not gracious....

What? Sorry, but you must be delusional. Did you forget about the whole twitter and media storm that LA released on AC during the TdF? Did you forget that LA skipped the victory dinner for AC? Did you forget the snide comments about AC afterwards in the media and twitter? Gracious my a$$.

Yes Lance DID skip Alberto's Victory Party. But c'mon, the choice was between spending time with his family and new sponsors OR going to a party where a drunken Contador dances around on table tops shooting people with his fingers. I mean c'mon.
