Anyone wonder if HP would sue over civil fraud? I don't see them marketing this stuff anymore.

LiveStrong, guys! Now I`m thinking of saving Africa as well.

Africa awereness. It`s one helluva country.

Twitter:
5hr lunch w/ Bono. His back's on the mend. My form's on the rise. Lots of talk of Africa & Cancer & where the 2 meet. Livestrong meets ONE.

Must have been some lunch. Did they listen to each other or what?

So where does cancer and Africa meet? In his wallet?

Did they have to eat outside due to the size of both their egos? Apparently Bono walked across the lake to meet Lance.

I find that when I want to talk about an impoverished region like Africa or a debilitating disease like cancer the best place to have those conversations is on the French Riviera in my 3 million dollar home whilst drinking $300 bottles of Chateauneuf du pape. In adds to the realism of the subject matter.

We need these guys. They are so in touch with the world right now.

That is not lance's house. Must be Bono's. That means $800 wine

Comedy... please keep it coming, good material.

From EuroSports Blazing Saddles:

LANCE BASHING: There's an interesting video doing the rounds which shows Lance Armstrong signing autographs at the Tour of Luxembourg despite the persistent booing of one (ever so slightly tiring) cycling fan.

At first, it has to be said, the repeated boo is pretty funny - primarily because of the anticipated reaction of the American. Usually so serene, Armstrong soon snaps and climbs up a barrier to look his tormentor in the eye.

It's a thrilling stand off: Lance's assailant booing at the top of his voice and shouting the word "menteur" (liar) while the enraged RadioShack leader points his finger and invites the man to "come here and boo in my face".

But watching the video, what becomes infinitely more annoying than the non-stop drone of boos are the repeated cries of "Lance!", "Thank you Lance" and "You are the best!" from one over-awed spectator trying to catch his idol's attention for a photo and an autograph.

If Saddles ever comes across that pathetic man, he wishes to rip out his voice box with his bear hands and stuff it down Piti's throat. There really is no room in sport for complete one-dimensional idolatry like that.

That, however, is the Lance Armstrong phenomenon in a nutshell: both his most ardent supporters and his most vocal detractors are complete and utter bores, equal in their blinkered obsession.

Thank God for the comic sideshow played out towards the end of the video: while Lance tells one of the Shack media men to "call the police, take him away", a small girl can be heard snivelling and whining in the scrum.

"Why are you crying?" asks a lady, presumably her mother. "I just want to get out of here!" shrieks the girl. BS knows how you feel - the same thing crossed his mind.

This could be part of a Seinfeld episode. Kramer booing, Jerry wanting an autograph for some girl he wants to bag...who would be the rest of the cast?

Bruyneel taking the picture of the guy "in case he comes to the Tour" = Newman.

LA = Frank Costanza. Maybe it was Festivus. The booer was airing his grievances, and LA wanted to get on to the feats of strength.

I'll bet you neither could tell you what the other said, but could recount precisely what they said.

Wow. Five hours with Bono. That extreme endurance workout will certainly pay off during the TdF. Armstrong is more serious about the Tour than I thought.

I am shocked that you would take BaconBoy(tm) to task and accuse him of being a repetitive bore with some baggage regarding his obsession.

Shocked I tell you.

This IS the official LA thread - any such posts are definitely allowed by community standards. The fact that he may cross post the same cut and paste in 10 other threads that have nothing to do with LA, well that is what he does all day - good thing he has the time.

Now lay off him.

Well someone seems to be getting his knickers in a twist:

Seven-times Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong has reacted angrily to news that Pierre Bordry, President of the AFLD, France’s governmental anti-doping agency, has cast doubt on the effectiveness of the UCI’s biological passport programme and called for additional testing at the Tour de France, with the cyclist using his Twitter feed to ask, “Anyone else getting sick and tired of this bull****?”

The answer would appear to be no, if the reaction to the Team RadioShack rider’s tweets on the social networking site is anything to go by, with several pointing out that the priority is cleaning up a sport that is often viewed as almost irreparably broken given its long history of doping scandals.

Hows it proven he's a complete fraud? Who should believe the whole Landis story? The LA haters? I believe 30% is true, which makes him just the same like any cyclist that wants to compete at the highest level imo...

Read the twit by TrailRidgeRider he gives an "amen" to. It is hard to believe there are people that stupid in existence, but then again, the guy is a Uniballer fan, and you have to question someone like that these days. It has to suck when your hero is proven time and again to be a complete fraud.

This one:?

@lancearmstrong - the only thing worse is the unholly alliance between Landis and LeMond... cycling is eating itself alive!

Dear oh dear...

Edit: It's no wonder he thinks he can get away with anything when his fans are a bunch of sycophantic morons who unquestioningly agree with anything he says. Want an ego boost? Read tw@tter replies.
