Refreshing to see you post without being derogatory toward cancer survivors who have lost body parts to the disease. Too bad you chose to instead use a derogatory reference toward people with fetal alcohol syndrome. At least it's a start. . .

Well, some people have a sense of humor, and some people only have one testicle...

Still mad that Lance has a bigger house than you, huh? I mean, house(s).

Well, I guess some people found my first retort to your post a bit...offensive. It was deleted, but I promise you, it was IMPRESSIVE. Me, I thought it was right on point too as clearly you are pretty low on the synapse count in the old gray matter, so I will try again. (not that you will ever read it because you only come around infrequently to post baited posts with no attempt to add to a discussion, so this will be buried by the time you slither back in here.)

Still mad you ate a lot of paint chips as a child, huh? I mean A LOT!

This is the reason for the hatred???????

I bought the Cycling Weekly guide to the Tour so that I would have route maps and what not for looking at.

There is a brief article on Contador and in it the writers make the point of saying Armstrong makes no attempt to hide his dislike of Contador. Followed by this quote from the Texan ..........

“He’s just a Spanish guy who has always lived in the same village, and he has his friends, his family, the street where he grew up, his country, his people ......... but he’s surrounded by yes-men”

Really??

This is the reason you choose to dis-like someone and try to bring the world's media down on them? Really?

What this says to me ( ignoring the sheer idiocy of his "yes-men" comment) is that Contador is a man comfortable with who he is and where he came from. A man surrounded by friends and family who he trusts and who will not lie to him or cheat him.

A man grounded and solid.

What it also says is that Armstrong is none of those things, and has none of those things. That without his constant need to appear in print he would simply blow away.

Armstrong appears to be unwilling to accept that he could be beaten by a simple man, rather than by a private jet jockey.

And, really? Contador is surrounded by yes-men? Lance, you need to look around you.

Pretty shallow reasons for the hate.

While I agree with the post, I think it would be better to keep all of that in one, big fat and ugly LA thread. That way, it doesn't take oxygen from actual cycling threads.

On a more refreshing topic than just thoughtless rants....
There is love beyond the CN Forum. A recent poll conducted in New Zealand by a cycling website, found:

56% of Kiwis expect Alberto Contador to win the Tour de France, but only 15% want the Spaniard to defend his title while 34% gave their vote to Lance Armstrong.

Wonder if that result would be reciprocated on these forums??:D

C'mon people, wheres the love!! i'm not feeling it on here lately.:)

Lol, All your retorts are offensive!! But hey the moderators obviously love you. :D Personally though I think it comes from the fact that you are just building up the required defence mechanism for your new chosen profession.

No "L" in team...just Ego

Lance is the team, he can do what he likes.

Exactly, select who'll look after his bar fridge in the closet,
who'll stand guard outside the hotel room door,
who'll benefit from the semi-annual Trek bike raffle.

With an ego as big as his, there's no friggin' way he can ride in anything smaller than a team bus!!!

Keep dreaming the nightmare fan-boy!

I don't think I am building it up. I think it was there from birth. That is one of the reasons I am going to law school. Some people were born to run, some born to build rockets, some born to cook. I was born to sue people and charge client a billable hour for 15 minutes of work.:D

You seem to be talking about non-lance related subjects still, are you having trouble following the thread? Please stick to the subject matter.

Sadly my Finnish isn't as good as it should be.
I mean, I own a Nokia cell phone, and I really dig Scandinavian girls, but my Finnish isn't what it should be...

Listen, when this fraud puts down his bike and stops pretending to care about the global suffering, then maybe I'll take up Finnish....

Keep dreaming your twisted nightmare.

So you are busy on some kind of crusade against Lance and dont have time to look into the truth. I guess it is just easier absorbing gossip anyway.

I like nokia too but those girls dont really look enough like my mother.
