In your post you attempted to spread the Gospel of Lance. You feel that your hero was driving awareness of cancer by posting video of himself. If raising awareness of cancer was his goal he would post the video on .ORG and drive traffic to that site.....but he does not.

Livestrong.COM's goal is simple, make Lance $$$$$. Armstrong posting video and driving traffic to the site helps achieve that goal.....it does not cure cancer.

I think what is funny and other have commented on is the fact, a few years ago, everyone who backed Lance protested at how he was always clean, how many times did we hear he never tested positive which meant absolutely nothing but it was used as a 100% argument by the Lance fans.

I hated how anybody who ever dared question his methods was automatically shot down by the fanboys. You didnt have to be a hater to naturally questions his performances, anybody with a bit of logic would do so but to the fanboys you were just a jealous, hater(Why?).

This attitude really annoyed me and put me more in the anti-Lance camp. I blame the fanboys for the level of hate that now exists though dont think I am quite at the full blown hater stage just yet.

Now the fanboys seemed to have changed , ok, maybe he did dope but so was everybody else so its wrong to criticise him now. For me, my questioning of Lance never changed but the attitude of the defenders seems to have altered big time. Sorry but you cannot defend, defend, then say, oh ok maybe he was cheating but......loss of face methinks.

Nope, no court has ever ruled on Armstrong's six positives for EPO, the Vrijman report has been discredited, and both scientists who developed the EPO test have said the tests were valid. I trust in science, not a corrupt organization like the UCI's failure to do what is right.

Thanks Dimspace for the comments, likewise I dont always agree with you on every subject but respect your opinions and how they are expressed and that applies to any poster who shows some level of intelligence and respect. I hate the nonsense that was going on a few pages back.

I just wonder why the Lance loving thread always disapperars but you still find the Lance lovers on this thread trying to go against the grain. It just gets ugly like I mentioned before. Keep both threads going and we can try to avoid the personal stuff.

Armstrong cannot be suspended based on these six positive tests because of a technicality. They were only done to evaluate a new EPO test. Because they were evaluating an EPO test and not officially testing the samples, the tests were not done according to protocol (and they were never intended to be done according to protocol). The fact that the tests were not done according to protocol means Armstrong can still ride, however it does not diminish the fact the he still tested positive to EPO six times in the 1999 TdF.

The interesting thing is that the l'Equipe reporter knew that the UCI was testing this new EPO test. The reporter asked Lance whether he had permission to look at his test results from the 1999 TdF and Lance gave him permission! You have to wonder why Lance sues anybody and everybody that hints he may have doped, but Lance did not sue either the reporter or l'Equipe for this most outright and convincing proof of him having doped. My take is he knew that he could not win this one and staying quiet would hopefully make it all go away.

Officially there were WMD somewhere, that costs a lot to believe UCI official statement not supported by reality of WADA and rational heads.

The only "paranoid conspiracy theories" are those that try to explain the 6 EPO positives as being part of a French conspiracy.
