Oh, please, stop that b*******. It is a complete lack of disrespect for the people that are really doing something. Cancer is just an alibi for Armstrong to gain notoriety and satisfy his enormous ego and need for being in the center.
Doing things for cancer require to support researching for cures and/or really increase the quality of life of the patients. As for telling us how important it is and how aware we should be about it, cancer supposed 12.5% of all the deaths in the WORLD in 2004 according to WHO, and increasing. Almost every person in the world knows about cancer first hand, since it is very likely that a close person is suffering from it or will soon get cancer.
So please Mr. Armstrong, just ride your bike. If you want to fight cancer focus your efforts in supporting research, such as other famous/wealthy people do with less buzz
