Moreno talking about his program.
Will start with Lugano and Camaiore, then Strade Bianche and T/A.
He will ride Milano Sanremo and the Ardennes, not the cobbled classics. Tour de France is gonna be his first GT ever, preceded by Dauphine and Suisse.

He's not riding the Giro because he's not sure he can do well this year, and not winning a stage would be a huge failure in his mind. At the Tour, on the other hand, there's gonna be less pressure on him. He also hinted that he might try to win a GT in the future (which I personally don't think is a good idea, but whatever).

Look forward to seeing him there, should be good.

Agree, he should focus on becoming the best hilly classics rider of his Generation rather than waste his talent on trying to win an unachievable goal.

He did an impressive job for Sagan in the last kms of today's GP Camaiore, bringing back 3 or 4 attacks on his own.

well impressive is a little too much considering his qualities...he brought back a nasty attack from Nibbles and kept the pace high until Sagan's sprint.

Anyway really promising for the classics!

Everything about Moreno is impressive to me

I heard the interview before the race. Low profile as usual. Even during the race he was invisible until the last kms, but always there.

Only thing I'm concerned about: Sagan too strong means he won't have many races to ride for himself?

He'll probably have his chances in LBL and FW, I don't think sagan is targeting them.

Very impressive work from Moreno today though, I think he will definitely be up there in the classics contending.

That would be jumping the gun that's if he is the leader of the GC.. seconda punta would be enough for him if they want him to take any sort of leadership role.

Truth to be told: nobody in Cannondale roster has a shot at the GC in this year Tour de France.

Moserino (little Moser in italian) is going to the Tour just to gain experience on GTs, there'll be no pressure on him to win a stage and certainly he won't be Cannondale's GC hope. The team will be there for Sagan only. Damiano Caruso (who was one of the most promising mountain domestiques for Basso in last year Giro) is Cannondale's best bet for GC, but he said that he will try to win a stage in the mountains and won't target the GC, but maybe if he's going well, who knows? Going back to Moser, he will probably be one of the top domestique for Sagan so I doubt he will have the chance to go for a stage himself.

Amazing win, amazing. A great team effort by Cannondale and a huge help from Sagan in the last 20kms. That last km with the attack on the final wall was just wow.

I don't think they're going to stay togeter for years to come.

And right now I'll think they will play out Moser in the real hilly classics and Sagan in San Remo, Ronde van Vlaanderen and AGR.

They're both incredible all-rounders already, and still very young. They may even both develop into riders who can win anything from MSR to Roubaix to LBL.

And for the next years they'll surely be a tandem, it depends on both rider's ego whether they stay together.
