The field is very very tough though. Top 15 would be even amazing.

this is a one week raceSafeBet said:Tell your man Berto to start worrying
Seriously, I have no expectations whatsoever. I don't think he can develop into a GT rider, but he wants to. Maybe he'll just do like Bettini in the past. Going for GC in a Giro or two and then understand he will never be able to podium and go back to classics.
He could be good in one week races though.

he must have, though. He trained in Liquigas with Nibali and Basso so he should be aware of how he goes. Basso himself said that Moser is his heir (if I'm not mistaken)SafeBet said:Yeah I meant in the future.
Plus, Tirreno is among the hardest one week races. As you said, we really have no idea how he could respond to such long climbs.
he's going for the gc, but I guess he'll help Sagan in the first two stages anyway.Pippo_San said:The question is, is he going for GC in this T-A, or is he just going to help Sagan? Obiouvsly the approach changes everything so...
I'd say if he's going for GC we can expect a top 5-7, I want to believe![]()

Moser to attack with 20km to go. All the other teams looking at each other and don't want to pull Sagan. Sure it might well come back together, but it is the wisest use of Moser to let him attack.Hugo Koblet said:The problem is that these stages suit Sagan very well also.

I just hope he doesn't wait for the hill at 3 km to go. (As that is where Sagan should make his winning attack)Eshnar said:wait, I seem to remember something like that![]()
