Hindley got all of 30 meters or so before Kelderman decided he would sprint the others out of his wheel on 6% slopes...
Smart, it was not.
Edit: Hah, thinking the same thing.

C'mon. That's not poor class. It was a setup by Sunweb. Let Hindley go first and then Kelderman bridge so they can create a gap together. Didn't work out as Almeida was able to follow Kelderman.
He should always have waited longer, whatever the plan. If Hindley is further up the road and he tries to bridge, but he notices that he can't shake Almeida, he could still decide to keep his legs still and have Almeida gamble to go after Hindley or not and profit in Almeida's wheel. If he can shake Almeida, the team can still tell Hindley to wait for Kelderman and they can work together.C'mon. That's not poor class. It was a setup by Sunweb. More like Purito lolWilco channeling the 2012 Hesjedal.
Somebody stop this guy from bringing snow machines and miracles.Idk, it's pink with a black edge.
At least we get to say Kelderman wore pink for at least 2 days.
But in all honesty I see less than 5% of him winning now. He's gonna need a miracle day on saturday and sunday
There's 2 serious questions for me.
- Did Hindley go full in the stage 14 ITT.
- Did TGH go full on the final climb today?
I'm half expecting him to get dropped by Rohan Dennis. The stage saturday has been altered, i think in his benefit. If he doesn't lose more than 30 seconds there, then he should still win the Giro.
I think every single tennis fan would be offended by that if they knew who Wilco Kelderman was. We're in 2020, an interesting year when a former sky jumper almost won the TDF only to be dethroned by his "younger brother" in the last "real" stage.
The eternal promise (the Marat Safin of cycling) Kelderman has a very good chance of winning the Giro.
At this stage, not even Valverde winning the Vuelta would surprise me all that much.
I guess you must not really like the average GT winner of the past 10 years then.Doesn’t deserve to win this as it stands. If he wasn’t on the same as Hindley, he’d be in third right now IMO.
