Pinot is arguably the biggest talent (GC / climbing wise) from France.

FDJ have a very good rider there . They also have Roux(different rider completely), two of the big french names in years to come.

Anyway we are really yet to see what kelderman can do in the high cols.
He has promise, hopefully he shows some good devolpment next year in the pro ranks.

He already did that last year although he ultimately lost the prologue to Zubeldia with 0.09 difference.

Lets see if he can do better than 12th last year

Born in 1991 and already in a class of his own.

While still so young, he already wins mountain stages, hilly stages, time trials, prologues and even mass sprints in the U23 category. The guy seemingly has no weaknesses. Except ofcourse the dutch falling disease.

It's commonly accepted among insiders that the moment Kelderman becomes pro we will forget all about Sagan, Gesink, Hagen, Rolland and other Taaramae's of this world. As Kelderman easily has more talent in his left toe then all others.
We are at the dawn of the Wilco Kelderman-era.

This is his official thread. Better start it early!

So far the guy is doing excellent in Down Under. Despite working for the sprinters all the time he has still finished in the 1st group on all days.
Wonder if he gets spared in the Willunga stage

The lad is showing is is capable of WT racing at the very least. Looking forward to seeing him get his own chances later in the year.

he should start at the Vuelta Andalucia... there is a prologue of 6km and some hilly stages... can be a good chance for him to go for the overall!

He will (at least, that was the plan).

The prologue is an out and back straight flat course, maybe not ideal for him ;)

As a Rotterdammer I have to say no to both 020 and Limboland.
this is getting funny, nothing but love for the 1012, Limburg, Rotterdam, Den Hague, Arnhem, and especially this weekend in Friesland for the Elfstedentocht.
I hope Wilco has a great career, always amazes me how many good climbers come out of NL and they don't have a mountain anywhere in the country (it does explain why they are horrible descenders though)

actually guys like tjallingii and especially theo bos are top descenders (you just never get to see them because they are dropped)

But yeah, our climbers can't descend...
