In no way, shape or form is his name Wouter. It's Wout Poels. That's his birthname, real name, registered name, calling name, whatever.

If my full name was Wouter Lambertus whatever, I'd probably go by "Wout" too.

Wout had a super 3rd week of the 2023 Vuelta. When I looked, he was at the front a lot of the time culminating in the stage 20 win. Way to go!
