Froome just sitting 2nd wheel wasting energy and then swung out only to close a gap for 10 seconds... lots of wasted energy.

How tough was the Beijing course compared to this?Punkan said:Cancellara still hanging in there. Impressive.

What a scumbag. Tour de France winners always pull on the flat 60km out.
I think even more altitude difference but the difference is that the climb in Bejing was way easier.Cance > TheRest said:How tough was the Beijing course compared to this?Punkan said:Cancellara still hanging in there. Impressive.

Obviously a most ridiculous post.

The backup stream on cyclinghub is consistent, but quality is mediocre, and it's in some language I don't even recognise (Danish?).

True, but I feel when Bala etc. light it up on the climb Cancellara will be distanced by some margin. I think this break will be caught. Italy might begin to chase as they have arguably the least strong rider there, with the least chance of winning.DFA123 said:Not entirelyBrullnux said:DFA123 said:Lots of classics specialists still hanging around near the front. Makes it a much more interesting dynamic though. The climbers will have to drop them somewhere and hold them off on the flat, and they're running out of time to do so. If they can even catch this strong break with GVA, Thomas and Taaramae.
