Lots of classics specialists still hanging around near the front. Got to think their endurance and handling is going to give them a chance on such a tough and technical course.

Are you saying this because you've been saying this for the last two months, and want to keep hammering your message in? :D
Not entirely :) Makes it a much more interesting dynamic though. The climbers will have to drop them somewhere and hold them off on the flat, and they're running out of time to do so. If they can even catch this strong break with GVA, Thomas and Taaramae.
True, but I feel when Bala etc. light it up on the climb Cancellara will be distanced by some margin. I think this break will be caught. Italy might begin to chase as they have arguably the least strong rider there, with the least chance of winning.
Yeah, Italy should definitely not leave it to Caruso. Will be interesting to see if just one unexpected rider can hang on - preferably a faster finisher than Valverde - so we can see Spain try something on the run in to the line.

Italy have been very quite

Not at all. They were the ones to open when they hit the climb by sending Caruso on the attack. Time for them to wait now.

Uh... exactly who thought it was a good idea to rehash the Phonak outfit?

I was thinking the same. Same kit, without sponsor names.

Froome pulls off when it is his turn to pull.

What a scumbag. Tour de France winners always pull on the flat 60km out.

Besides also having Thomas up the road....

Obviously a most ridiculous post.

Guess you don't detect sarcasm ... sigh. I'll add smiley next time.
Yeah we all know thats the best excuse ever.
But believe it or not what you wrote wasn't sarcastic and if you seriously meant it sarcastically it's not a good excuse because writing an sarcastic post without any signs that it could be sarcastic is even more stupid.

I'm going to say it. Froome will win.

Yep, in this heat, I'm saying he's favourite at the point. Expecting a two-up sprint between Nibali and Froome while Valverde and Bardet try to chase in vain

Spartacus about 2 stone heavier than everyone else at the front there

Big stones or small stones? How much kg are those stones?
