The Podium Slam

Page 14 - Get up to date with the latest news, scores & standings from the Cycling News Community.
Almeida moves into the two podiums section, with 2/3/4 matching Fornara and Geminiani
Hindley moves up within the 1 podium section.
Jorgensen, Gall and Pellizzari each have two of the three GTs on their lists.

In view of previous discussions, Lejarreta now showing as a best of 2nd in the Vuelta, with an asterisk to show that that was subsequently upgraded to a win, and Pollentier's 2nd place in Vuelta removed, as he was initially 4th in the 1982 edition, but replaced with his 1979 3rd place, asterisked to show that the current record shows a better result in that race. I trust this is deemed accurate by the historians.

I'll leave those who have been active this season as underlined until the next update, even if they have raced their last race.

Do you also want to give Menchov an asterisk for his Tour podium?
Ok, done. He had a third that was disqualified (2010), and also a fourth elevated to third (2008). It is the former that is relevant in this listing as we are going by results as published immediately after the final stage.

I had thought of the asterisks as only marking results that were later promoted, maybe that was why I had not marked Menchov's. At some stage I ought to do a set of footnotes to explain all those asterisks.

Any others outstanding?

Official results can be a bit weird, sometimes no one else is moved up (so Basso doesn't have a 1st place in the Tour, even if no one finished ahead of him) when results are voided. I think Leipheimer lost most of his results, at least his 3rd place in the Tour.

One of the reasons why I preferred to use the results as they were at the end of races.
