Brazil v Colombia was a great game.

What an idiot Neymar was for kicking the ball at Armero when he was celebrating and then headbutting Murillo afterwards.

Carlos Sanchez was the best player on the pitch. Totally different player to what we saw at Villa last season.

Lol  he really was a moment of death
They were beating him during whole match without any kind of punishment, ridiculous referees.

But yeah they deserved to win ;)

i'm not surprised with yesterday result, this is probably the worst brazilian team in history
its really shameful... that '''''defense''''' and def midfield
and Fred in starting lineup like what the *** :(

I'm happy with Colombia win.Didn't see it,the hour of the games really suck here in Europe, but from what i read Brazil is playing the same crap as at WC,good for them :D True with those players even Mourinho will fail.

Brazil lost, meh. Would rather them than Colombia. But I dislike South American football in general, fast but too many dives. Portugal and Spain are catching up though, must be all the imports. One of the few SA footballers I like is Jackson Martinez, guy is strenght and class inside the pitch.

I mean South American players in general. Portugal is one of the main switch-over hubs from SA to Europe, where players come to gain value and then, the good ones, leave to the big sharks. And actually Brazil is very well represented in the Liga in terms of numbers, 100 players, a lot when you compare it to 'only' 189 portuguese.

Bernardo Silva is a gem of a player.

Monaco paying 15m euros will be shown in time to be a real bargain. I can see him follow in the same path as James Rodriguez in getting a similar big move in the future. No surprise to hear Jorge Mendes represents him.

A good group of players the Portuguese have(William Carvalho, Sergio Oliviera, Illori,). Even Ruben Neves is on the bench for them.

True. He's usually a joy to watch. Didn't watch today's game, but it's there on demand for later today. For his own sake I hope he doesn't return to Portugal, which is not realistic anyway.

Can't wait for this generation to reach the A team, which is full of prima donas, tomates podres, players well past their prime, and others who simply don't give a crap.

I have suffered enough Im not going to watch today ;)

Pretty mehh game from Argentina, I hate their luck :D

Que? From the highlights I saw Colombia had like the luckiest clean sheet of all time. Argentina hit the post twice, messi was denied by a save of the century on the line, they had another shot cleared off the line and were very unlucky not to have a penalty when messi and aguero were hit in that goal mouth scramble.
Compared to no major chances for Colombia.

Thats true, their pressure was great, but with that squad I would expect something like 3-0 or more, I know they didnt have luck during the game but eventually they won penalties, thats always a bit lucky win.

btw thank god Brasil is out, it was painful to watch, they need to totally reorganise that team

Cech going to Arsenal is a brilliant move.

First time since 2007 Arsenal have a GK of sufficient quality. Ridiculous how it took so long to solve this area with an adequate signing. Could be one of Wenger's significant buys. I see parallels with Van Der Sar going to United and the impact he brought to solve their GK problems at the time.

Was watching the halftime of copa yesterday and they showed players in preseason camp and I'm like - wtf. Shows what is wrong with this sport. The champions league final was 3 weeks ago. Some players like messi went straight from there to the copa America and are still in the 2015 season. And the new season is already beginning. Football transfers are the number 1 stories. Pff. Kimmage was right, there is just too much football.
